You're Week 1 through 3 analysis is spot on. I've noticed that when I continue my goals is because others important to me say, "What happened to your project?" Or I might hear, "You're never going to do it" or I'm told I can't. I get that feeling like Marty McFly when he's called a chicken and then I hop back on it just to prove naysayers wrong, and then I finish strong. I want to follow through with my goals instinctively, not because others said I couldn't do it but because I want to see the finished outcome for myself and experience the joy that follows.
how u take notes about those books u have read?????? still astonishing to imagine that how well u grasp the key ideas and produce them in a pleasant and simple way to make it way more understandable. plzzz make a video about how u read a book.
This is probably the one the most important video on this site. No kidding. This should be in the recommendation for 365 days for each year. Because it has all the points to solve more than 90% of all personal problems which mankind faces.
I have a feeling doing this every day will change my life, I'm internalizing the video and the PDF. Thank you man! Your channel is one of the best channels on UA-cam
Here are my 10 extra tips to INCREASE your daily manifestations that I’ve learned over the years..👇🏾 1. Practice gratitude every morning. When you wake up, list everything that you are grateful for and feel that gratitude in your core. Feel free to write things down in a journal so it is easy for you to remember. 2. Replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. Every time you feel a negative thought coming on, make a positive spin on it right away. 3. Take ownership for things that happen in your life. It's easy to blame others however you will feel much better when you realize that most issues stem from us. 4. ALWAYS believe that good things are about to happen. By being open to new possibilities you are inviting abundance into your life. 5. Remember that like attracts like so you get back whatever you put out, whether it is good or bad. So do good AND received good. 6. Meditate for five minutes a day. During this time focus on how you want your life to be; but place your focus on how you feel AND feel that feeling as if you have already accomplished those goals. 7. Step outside of your comfort zone. Stop playing it safe and make that decision to finally go for your dreams. 8. Focus on activities that make you feel truly happy. When you are truly happy you have the best vibrational frequency to manifest your desires. 9. Avoid the naysayers and surround yourself with people who only lift you higher. Downers will be downers, don't let them drag you into their misery. 10. Don't be afraid to dream and know that you are always supported by the universe. Hope this helps! - Your Friendly Neighborhood Coach ❤
This is such a barrier for myself that I was hugely under educated revolving around anything beyond the boneyard of incomplete ideas I've buried under so many different guises that ultimately were outlined in your video in a very clear and effective way and I feel so inspired by you Sharing this that I am focused on applying this knowledge and putting into action my own structure to transform my weaknesses into strengths and complete things with this new found awareness. Much gratitude.
This book is an intresting set of piece. Your 10-10-10 would be game changing. Present self seeing the future would truly boost the chances of finishing what we start. Thanks for the condensed version ❤
Thank you Nathan! Apart from your gift of summarising complex or lengthy (or both) material into a few simple actionable points, you also add value by using personal examples to demo or contextualise how to overcome challenges or apply the concepts to creating or scheduling these amazing productivity videos... keep doing what you do, it's changing lives, I know it's changed mine! :)
Watched the video right after I finished reading the book. It is one of the best books I've read in 2023. Thank you for summarizing it in less than 10 minutes. Temptation bundling is my favorite technique for following through.
Thank you! This book and others you summarize help me determine which books I want to read or which books I can listen to. Perfect for anyone in business - Military, sports, or just working with others.
You should do a video on "The Plant Paradox" and "The Longevity Paradox" by Dr. Steven Gundry. Great info on health which might be good for self-improvement although perhaps not directly productivity related. Thanks for the videos!
I have read this book and would only recommend it to readers who are new to the world of self help. The positive aspect is that it gives you a good old kick up the ar.. and you take away some motivation to finally go for "it". But that is pretty much all. What I didn't like were the long winded parts about aspects that have already been discussed in hundreds of earlier self help books. Hollins goes on and on about 1️⃣ multi tasking 2️⃣ Pareto Principle 3️⃣ batching similar tasks 4️⃣ distractions (keep your desk clean - yawn...) Really? Has anyone NOT heard about that stuff in 2022? I'd say, stick to the summary provided here and use your time for something worthwhile, e. g. finishing something you recently started 😉
‘Know’ the effect of both performing the difficult action by exerting self-effort and also evading the action for short term pleasures. Then ask your future self to choose one.
perfectionism X Finishing= Learning Finishing Manifesto: Personal to you 2 rules: 1) wjn its time to work I state … Say I will small action right now I want what i want to finish I won‘t what you will avoid State your intention 2) when I want to procrastinate 10-10-10 Imagine what procrastination feels like after 10min- 2hrs what pain if you start now this pain is less 10 min in 10 hrs in 10 days feels less. Schedule time blocks. Unstopable finisher
I want to get this engine running. I will diagnose all necessary components to achieve a firing and running state of the engine. I will not attempt to rebuild the engine unless it has been proven that it is absolutely necessary.
*Most great accomplishments were achieved by the people, who at first had no idea what they were doing.* Keep going my friend. I am cheering for you. 🙂
Incredible person reading this, you have everything there is to succeed in life, whatever that is for you. Go after the life you truly want NOW! ✨ I believe in you! Love - Nat ❤️
Another great way to stop procrastination is to do things that you are about to put off for a very short amount of time. Whenever I feel like not reading a book I intend to finish, I aim to read only a single page but then I read some more. The start after pause is the most difficult.
😮 OMG-- and here I thought I had a generational curse, (I know it sounds funny) I was always thinking to myself, man I am the king of starting, but never seem to complete, now I honestly see why,,,,
This is not a well thought-out book. Finishing something, and continuing something, are very different things. Leonardo da Vinci did NOT finish most works, but he continued to paint and he consistently produced astonishing works, even when unfinished. How to keep oneself motivated to continue is a whole topic in itself that require a much more detailed analysis than prescribing one to simply list certain manifestos and thinking incrementally about the future. What I dislike is people who try to sell a product by making things sound easier to give simple solutions to complicated issues. I respect the work you do, but simplifying an already simplified idea is to promote idiocy. I hope you can choose more wisely which books to analyze and present. Until then, I will have to unsubscribe.
Thank you for this book summary as I had bought this book, I started reading it ........but didn't finish it. That is a true story.
Finish it my friend

Great question I do want to know about it
Yes
I don't know his method. But Ryan Holiday and Robert Greene talk about the commonplace book. Ryan has videos here where he shares his method.

Best channel for simplifying book concepts in a way anyone can understand. Pure genius!!!
That is so important. As soon as people know _how to do something_ they typically lose interest

Great summary.
perfectionism X
Finishing= Learning
Finishing Manifesto:
Personal to you
2 rules:
1) wjn its time to work I state …
Say I will small action right now
I want what i want to finish
I won‘t what you will avoid
State your intention
2) when I want to procrastinate 10-10-10
Imagine what procrastination feels like after 10min- 2hrs what pain if you start now this pain is less
10 min in 10 hrs in 10 days feels less.
Schedule time blocks.
Unstopable finisher
That was legit.i get this about needing ti make my 12 step meetings or making that obligating family phone call.
Great video!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video I required this mindset at my curial moment of my career
finishing = learning mindset
create a finishing manifesto that you will finish without question
*"Only I can change my life, no one can do it for me" - Carol Burnett*

Is there a finish to running a UA-cam Channel? :D
I was confused when I heard you voice that what it's Peter Thiel.
Sadly, I can tell you already where this will fail for most people: at following through with one's manifesto.
