Come along as I chase down a noise coming from one of the rear wheels. Sorry for the video formatting I usually only produce content for Instagram, but this could be helpful for others chasing down noises from their own wheel assemblies. Hope this helps!

Good news is we’ve found the source of the clicking! Even better news is it isn’t the bearing or CV joint. Everyone who suggested it was the eBrake cable gets a gold star today!!

There is still a bit of noise (very very minimal) coming from the retaining clips on the springs. But I believe the noise will be very minimal.

I’m going to check the eBrake cable on the other side too, just to be sure. But I think we can call this solved.

Old drum brakes. I use to fight with those with my first car till I understood how they were suppose to work as a teen. When I bought my first disc brake car it was so simple. Love it
Glad to see you post again on UA-cam...following your build has been amazing
Oh yes the old trim for fitment ! I slid over here from Instagram I like what you've done with the place

@@annies_vwI really dig the detail and quality of your build! this is the good stuff
Those torque multipliers are effective & essential. One of the first tools I bought when Torque Meister sold them. When I first heard the sound of that wheel, I was compelled to watch the whole video.
Here from Instagram! Doing my part!
@@1936fordcrazy heyooooo!!
Fun in a hurry. Great memory refresh!
Glad to see you doing the UA-cam thing 😊
Haha, not sure it will become a regular thing. But thought it would be valuable to someone here too maybe.
Nicely done!
thanks Gary! Seemed to solve the problem!
Que medida es la llanta ?
I think the pin holding the brake lever to the brake shoe is not holding the lever tight enough. There shouldn't be play in the arm.
