Amazing how "fluid" is the workflow in Lightwave.
I have been using Maya since more than 10 years and I have to say that, although it is the industry standard, it can not match the level of reliability and quality of many of the features present in the NewTek package.
I used to be a LightWave user back in the days when I had my trusty Amiga 4000 and now I am getting back to it trying to "re-learn" everything and get in shape again :D
    Great demonstration.

Excellent tutorial, splines really simplify a whole lot of previously complicated actions. Then again if the only thing in it was the match perspective camera option it would've been worth it.

Fun video, and as usual, some useful goodies in there too. Thanks Jen.

I must be some kind of idiot as I can't find the curve to spline command under the setup / edit menu...
    All I can see is
    - Copy Hierarchy
    - Mirror Hierarchy
    - Rename Hierarchy
    - Import RIG
    - Export RIG
    - Delete
    -- Delete Hierarchy
    -- Delete Bone
I have 11.6 setup as default, followed the tutorial step by step to the layout stage...
Anyone have any idea what I may have done wrong?
I am a little green as I have not used LW for a while.

umm.. well you can actually see a spline in layout if you goto its object propertys in layout,/Gemoetry/tab then Add custom object / Show Curve.

If you like, you can KILL the polys and just SELECT ALL the points, or lasso them, then ctrl-p. Same result.
