Also to clarify the aunt comment, I know I know, but Pin's aunt is the kings technically adopted sister. So not aunt by blood. They are technically very distant cousins though based on the great grandfather(pin) and grandfather(anil) being distant cousins.

I'm still trying to figure out how she was technically an aunt. I knew it was like second cousins from a couple of generations ago, but I'm confused about how it made her an aunt and still not cousins.
Yes! Princess Pattamika is the King’s adopted sister, so technically an aunt by association on the family tree, but not a literal aunt. Lady Uangfah is her blood cousin though.
@@queenredfromthequeencity based on the book, I believe it was more of a hierarchy thing than actual blood relations when it comes to anil being pin's aunt. For the cousin things, I assume it's because they're so distant cousins, it wouldn't really fit to call each other that.
@user-qg8vy1ui4p thr cousins part makes complete sense, but aunts and uncles are siblings of parents / grandparents. (Or in African American culture, close friends of your parents /grandparents) none of which applied to Anil but if I'm understanding you correctly it's because technically Anil is in the previous generation even though she is younger. Like my Grandma's brother, who is younger than my mom but if they were distant relations.

Freen , the change of facial expression in split seconds is amazing. She is a very good actress, also Becky, but Freen shines in EP 4 and 5.
To paraphrase Star Wars: The Old Reepublic Online, a blind and deaf lobotomy patient can tell that Pin is in love with Anin. I get where Pin is coming from, though. She's had these feelings for Anin for so long, but she denies what they mean. She just really needed to think it through. Also, to be fair, they've already been in a long distance relationship for five years. They will be ok.

She would still be treated as a close friend. In a world where you're treated differently based on social status, you shouldn't push those away that see you more than that.
