- This is video #7 in the Lightroom Tutorial Series for Food Photography where I go through the Tone Curve panel and discuss this idea of having more layers of contrast to work with in your edits. I also discuss two more hidden features within the tone curve that can dramatically change the look of your images, including the colors!
Hope it helps!

Disclaimer: This video was filmed BEFORE the new Lightroom update and I know the tone curve has changed since then, so there may be things I mention that are different now, but the core function of the tone curve explained in this video should still apply! And like always, I hope you find it helpful! Thank you again for watching my vids, it does mean a lot!
You're amazing! Even as a working photographer you're teaching me a lot that I can still improve on!

Wow it looks so simple, but it takes time to use tone curve without destroying white balance of the image :)
i like that joke. "WHAT ARE WE DOING IN LIFE?!"
😅
Man just binging all your vids now! Well done! Can I ask where are you sourcing for backgrounds/work tops?
👏👏👏
goooood...thants..
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great explanation. I was still wondering if the tone curve overrides the basic settings in the basic panel?
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation... I really think you should publish an online course on platforms like udemy.
Thanks Sagar! And I have looked into Udemy, but have decided to create a course on my own website instead! Perhaps when I launch my own, I can look into branching out onto a platform like udemy.
Hey. @figandlight love the voice quality of the video. May i Know which mic are you using here? and and you doing any audio post processing.
Your videos are not showing up under my subscriptions feed. I was lucky to find it as a recommended. :D
I had unchecked the option to not publish it to sub feeds and forgot to check it before publishing 🤦♂️ total slip
@@figandlight. Noticed that, too. Went looking for it. Just goes to show how many of us look forward to the vids.
same here man. Thank God for the recommendation.
Is capture one better?
I learn so much from your video than my paid course
whaaaat? if you don't mind me asking, what course are you taking? nevertheless, thank you for watching and I'm glad you find it helpful!
@@figandlight It's just one day course for beginner 😅😅 And they only teach basic stuff, so I always search in UA-cam for more detail info about photography, luckily I found your channel. Thanks for always posting this valuable content, very appreciate it 😊😊😊
WATCH OUT -There's a big white octopus behind you!
