    Glad you're enjoying my lessons! Be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss any videos. If the button doesn't appear on this page, search UA-cam for Jamie Anderson music. If you don't add "music" you'll get that snowboarder. And I'll bet she doesn't even play guitar.

    Hi Jamie. I'm reading a book of yours, don't know how many you've written but if you are still writing I'd be curious to know your earliest musical roots. I notice your voice has perfect pitch which matches the music. People without perfect pitch often sound a bit off key. A person singing in a voice with perfect pitch usually indicates that person had music in their life at a very early age. In my case I was around music from my toddler years on up as my mom always had a radio on or a record playing on a turntable in my entire childhood. I notice kids at open mic events from toddler to teens seem to be extra attracted to the beats and rhythms of the music, people holding babes come down in front of me and the kids are dancing to the music naturally and pointing out to the guitars as they hear the sounds. I love seeing that at community suppers and other local events. Music helps young brains develop and kids with an early start learn to mimic the perfect tones of musical notes. I am told by audiences I have perfect pitch. I feel so lucky. I didn't sing in front of an audience until I was disabled at the age of 65. Now I just need another 20 years to be able to enjoy singing and playing guitar. Back to my main point. How early and what were your musical influences? When I get my book written I'll send you a free copy. Now the Columbo factor, just one more thing, one thing people like about you is your infectious smile. You always seem like you are happy and having a good time. Let the good times roll. Hopefully in '21 we'll be able to get back to the open circuit.

      How could I not be happy when I'm playing music? I don't have perfect pitch, btw.

    • @JamieAndersonMusic
      @JamieAndersonMusic  5 років тому +1

      DDU DDU (12&34&) works well because the full pattern is four beats and it divides evenly in half (DDU). There are a lot of half measures in this song.
