Your comment on the alcantara of the wheel, they can appear worn out after 5000-10000 miles of use. However a hot water only microfiber will make them good as new.
This is correct, a microfibre cloth or micropore sponge with very dilute detergent and alcantara looks like new, leather always just get progressively worse.
Bro my 718 gt4 alcantara was so fucked nobody could do shit, it was like a solid piece, irredeemable. An attempt was made by a pro and it looked like shit before AND after lmao.

You have to be a special kind of stupid. Check prices of any 'lightweight' Ferrari, they never lose value over time, GT3 RS' go down for every new gen that arrives.
If you're in manual mode always shift before you think you should because otherwise you will get the rev limiter everybody knows that.

My 02, 3.2 liter, 6 speed, 986 Porsche Boxster S with Fabspeed Exhaust, CAI, catless headers, IPD Plenum/TB, Numeric shifter, Bilstein performance struts, H&R lowering springs, BBS Sport classic rims etc.
Plus the mid-engine handling dynamics and convertable top just make it one of ultimate drivers cars! 😃
That said the 9,000 rpm rev limit, track prowess and value of the 911 RS is undeniable; I want one 😂

Overpriced as hell. Now you see why many of them are not at track days. Would you track if you paid 150-200k over MSRP? Shame really. The problem with the RS is you can get 765LT for same price. If you are not going to track anyways why would you get the RS over a proper supercar that can corner just as good and destroy the RS pure speed. 150-200k over MSRP in a few yrs should evaporate anyways.
Because 765LT will break down, its panels will separate, door seals leak, gas door crooked, everything in it will buzz and rattle and because its not as durable as an RS. You can track the RS for 4 hours in a day and drive home and mclaren will heatsoak and go into limp mode.
@@justarandomcarguy you make a good argument. I have heard that about GT3s, that you can beat on them all day at the track, and they take it no problem

Porsche 911 GT3RS is my dream car and all but, $400K for a piece of plastic is crazy work. I'm not going past $70,000 but, preferably $55-60,000 unless i'm racing Thanos i don't think I'll ever need a real race track car on the regular street just to go to target and back to work in the morning. I'll rather buy a Z06 for $44,000 and tune it.
It won't and it hasn't - I much prefer the 991.2 GT3 RS over the 992 GT3 RS.

The only reason that it isn't a complete death trap , is because of the fact that it is heavily computerized . Without all the nannies it would wrap around a tree . Go drive a 40-year-old Porsche with only 300 horsepower if you don't know what I mean .
