Code R's goes directly to a bin for me too. I rode couple of trails with them after bedding in... it can stop you, but if feels very strange and you need to pull relatively hard when compared to Shimano or Magura.
@@kevinlucasmtbWith the 220mm rotors up front it did take much longer to bed them in then I though it would take. But they were pretty cold days when I tried that. Also I went for aftermarket sintered pads, I wouldn't suggest doing that. They need to get up to really high temps to start working. I switched back to Magura R pads and it works really nice now. I also got the HC3 levers, but I still don't know how I feel about the levers themselves. How is your bike doing? Any upgrades?
