this was the best incarnation of blink, the one I fell in love with. Perfect shape, perfect instruments, perfect timing, perfect execution, perfect energy, perfect singing, perfect vibe. The golden era.
No offense, but this was probably the worst time period for Blink. They were playing everything twice as fast as it should be and they all hated each other.
People say they were bitter during this performance but during Reckless Abandon, Tom clearly had no ill feel for Mark and smiled at him while performing.
This brings back memories of my first concert when I was 13 in Toronto, The Used and Taking Back Sunday opened, What a time it was still so glad to have caught them live in this era of their self titled cd that gets better with time the more you listen to it. So much nostalgia
That music..... this cannot be the same today... that mainstream will never be back... If we would have really liked these bands, then why they are all going down one after the other?! Where is those bands who really enjoyed playing music for the crowd and themselves? That "down" song in live... you feel the way Tom's playing it... you know that the breakup of the band is imminent... he doesn't care about all the stuff... he just played the way he liked to play... Blink-182 is never going to be the same... if we want pop-punk/punk-rock bands leading our music like it was ten years ago, we need people that want to play music with their heart like Tom Delonge, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus used to.
well, I tried for 15 years to create music like blink, this is my channel.. Im not promoting cause I/we (I play solo 60% of the time) cant get populare.. its impossible. Even if we did, it wouldnt be top pop
Samuel Tremblay-Laliberté unfortunately we won’t have another band like this or any of it from the 90s/2000s... sure there are good bands like All Time Low,A Day To Remember,Mayday Parade,The Wonder Years and such Bands who shows how much passion they have for music but then sadly many will see them as nothing but carbon copies of Green Day,Blink,MCR,Sum 41,NFG and so on... plus it’s really disappointing how bands would try to venture into a different sound
It's awesome to see this, they did two nights at Wembley and I was at the show the night before, it was my first ever gig, brings back mega happy memories! Thanks for uploading!
I remember going to see this tour. Can't believe im saying this but thank god they did split and get back together. They sound so much better live today
Yes all the small things my favourite song by blink-182 and can I just say this is great vocals from Tom here too even with a reasonably deep voice here he still pulls this song perfectly
I think this was an awesome point in Blink's history bc they didn't really obviously hate each other, Tom's voice wasn't bad, the band worked together well, AND they had all their good albums and songs out.
I was here the night before this and there didnt appear to be any tension whatsoever, little did we know, was still the best night ever, im 30 now and i have seen Blink, AvA and +44 many times since this but this will always be the best! Anyone else notice at 58.43 it sounds like Tom is playing the intro to The Adventure by AvA???
There is pro shot video footage of this tour, but I don't think it'll ever be officially released, at least not anytime soon...so most likely it will be leaked.
I’ve noticed Tom has the American flag on his shirt and does that a lot with AVA prod this was the beginning of the end of Tom’s era part 1 of blink-182(2009-2015 was part 2 of Tom’s era)
don't think they will ever play this fast ever again first off tom is not in the band tom does have the energy to play fast he just doesn't tryAlso Mark looks like hes in his 60s even though hes in his 40s but I don't think mark has this much energyI'm not sure how fast matt can play so no infothe only person who could actually play this fast is probably travis
The more I watch concerts from this time, the more I see Tom acting fun and normal and Mark being a wet blanket. I think Mark never let go of the BCR grudge at the time, and Tom couldn't take the passive aggressiveness. Tom also wanted a much deserved extended break from touring, which wouldn't have hurt the band as they were at the height of their popularity. If anything, it would've created more demand for them. Tom did let his ego get the best of him but I think this breakup was in no way all on him.
Why does Tom sound so aggressive haha it’s almost as if he’s about to jump offstage and punch someone and Mark saying”feeling this”is like woah dude calm down quite a good performance actually and the crowd are going crazy too
(3 hours before concert) fan filming: "mom do you have a shoe i can record video of the concert tonight with?, awesome thanks!" (records video with shoe)
see a lot of comments saying they can "feel the tension between them" cuz they play the songs fast?....have any of you seen blink perform between 1995-2004? its always been like that. and no theres not "tension", at least not in this performance. when blink broke up in Feb 05 it came as a complete shock to both mark and travis when tom had his manager inform them that he didn't wanna be in the band anymore. so no I doubt in June of 2004 that they were fighting and there was "tension."... at least not enough to have it seep out into their concerts.
There's certainly less banter in this show, and the jokes don't seem as playful. They're not making dick jokes about each other in this era. There are times where Tom sarcastically makes comments about Mark in this era, like saying "oh Mark is the captain of blink-182, huh?", whereas Mark genuinely would insult Tom's singing and playing on stage (especially during the very last show)
no its not great. its actually sad, they only played it so fast because they were splitting up at this time and wanted to get off stage and spend time without eachother
Project Twenty-Nine Music thats not even true they've played songs at twice the normal tempo since forever and only recently since the reunion they started playing them at a normal speed. If you actually watched this you'd see tom and mark still banter and fuck around like they always did
Haha Tom having a go at the crowd for not singing lol that’s funny and my god his voice keeps alternating from high to low pitched like a dial being turned
What I don't get is if you go and watch all the Cheetah videos of them recording this album, they were getting along so well, so how within not even a year of that did they grow to hate each other and eventually break up? Just happy they're back together now :)
Because Tom wanted to spend more time with family, but with that being said he made Blink cancel a tour out of nowhere. So that was part of the reason for the fighting, and then Tom just left, and practically fell off the face of the planet for a whole year until AvA's first album.
Exactly. It's almost like the split was by design, like they wanted to show us that at any age, it is possible to fuck up a good thing. Almost as if to say "Do you understand what these lyrics are about?" So many fans grew. It's strange and awesome all at once.
Dude earlier on in the show you can see it. Like when they play What's My Age Again? and Tom sounds angry on that song and not only that but they're playing mega fast on all their songs. The tension, I think, actually is what makes the show better. Maybe I'm entirely wrong but still...a fuckin great one this is.
Danny Adams I agree it is great musically but I went to a show on this tour and it was a total disappointment. I wanted to go see them act like fools and tell crude jokes. They also didn't play any old songs, but a long medley of them.
Anggera Prasetyo He was having drug issues around that time, on top of that, the tension was high with Mark and Travis against Tom, it seems like they're playing fast and also trying to be louder than one another.
Nightowl333 They were really angry with each other at the time. Travis and Mark were angry at Tom because I think he was taking time off to spend with his family, and he was also trying to start Angels and Airwaves I think. They all wanted to play faster to get more excitement at their concerts, but eventually that turned into just getting the concert over and done with.
+Tom Popolo AvA was not being put together until after the hiatus. But Travis and Mark speculated before hand that Tom working on new demos was actually a solo album, which wasn't true. They were worried Tom was going to go solo.
Just came here to watch the best blink that ever was or will ever be.
CoLomBiaSauriO amen!
Tom doesn't have bipolar man
lol
this was the best incarnation of blink, the one I fell in love with. Perfect shape, perfect instruments, perfect timing, perfect execution, perfect energy, perfect singing, perfect vibe. The golden era.
nah, Golden era is around 2000
No offense, but this was probably the worst time period for Blink. They were playing everything twice as fast as it should be and they all hated each other.
iHatebologna59
Sort of on spot, except it was more of Mark and Travis were angry at Tom and he was angry at them.
iHatebologna59 no offense, but some people liked them playing the songs twice as fast ;)
+iHatebologna59 Actually, the twice as fast performances go all the way back to Enema, and even before that I think.
there is so much tension in how they are playing and singing, but tom sounds really good at the same time.
they played everything sooo fast. i agree you could feel the hatred in their performances.
@@MrJoshjohnston I don't think they ever "hated" each other per se, but you can definitely tell they needed a big break from each other here.
LOL, Travis is like "try to catch up my speed bitcheees"
yes especially at violence last reff. become faster and faster but still cool
Travis is like”fuck I drum fast,who cares?”
tensions are all over the place that time lol
This is nothing. Check out their very last show as a band in 2004 (Dublin)
Three lies in the title, 'DVD', HQ', and 'HD'.
NO ONE CAN REPLACE THIS TOM. NOT EVEN THOMAS DELONGE FROM AVA
He was so fucking cool back then... damn
Lol right
Same person just he gained weight, grew up&his voice got deeper and made a different genre of music
@@saffronthurkettle6795 he literally just aged lol
1:02:47 I like the little instrumental.
Лучший!
love toms hair here
Wow I'm watching this for the first time 11 years later and It just reminds me all over again why I love blink so much
People say they were bitter during this performance but during Reckless Abandon, Tom clearly had no ill feel for Mark and smiled at him while performing.
This brings back memories of my first concert when I was 13 in Toronto, The Used and Taking Back Sunday opened, What a time it was still so glad to have caught them live in this era of their self titled cd that gets better with time the more you listen to it. So much nostalgia
So fast, but still tight and Tom's voice was still there! it's slowly coming back now...
Samuel Tremblay-Laliberté well said but I'm afraid the music industry now won't let this type of music get out.
well, I tried for 15 years to create music like blink, this is my channel.. Im not promoting cause I/we (I play solo 60% of the time) cant get populare.. its impossible. Even if we did, it wouldnt be top pop

Remember being at this exact show when I was 15, missed school the next day haha.
😂 i was here when i was 15 too but i went to school the next day, i was still full of adrenaline, one of my best nights ever
15 rn wishing i could have been there
this blink was really good. Incredible Tom voi
tom voice
10 years later!.. i cant belive how time flew!.. still lovin it!
15 now
End of down is so awesome and relaxing.
This is prob the best live performance blink has ever done. So fast and clear. love it
Naah, most of the songs sound terrible at that speed
What a fucking great performance...
It's awesome to see this, they did two nights at Wembley and I was at the show the night before, it was my first ever gig, brings back mega happy memories! Thanks for uploading!
I remember this like it was yesterday, so glad I got to go to this show.
Man they ruled the world back then
I believe this is one of very rare most hardcore Blink 182 concert . Also Looks liked tension between Them too............However i love this concert
my favorite era, even though they hated each other, i wish there were more pro videos of their shows
I'd like to meet whoever made this video personally and have a word or two with him
I actually REALLY like Easy Target like that..
I was so in love with this Tom DeLonge!
Travis is still speeding up as this song is ending what control he’s got amazing drumming from Travis here
Ahh what I would give to see them playing Dysentary Gary live :D
Your wish came true haha
Look how fast they were playing back then, epic!
Blink will always be the best band ever...I guess this is growing up. Xoxo
DVD, HD & HQ MY ASS xD
They need to have an autobiography of this band!
That intro to Obivous is just so fuckin briliant. Sounds just like an alarm
I remember going to see this tour. Can't believe im saying this but thank god they did split and get back together. They sound so much better live today
about today? ahaha
What more can i say, I just dont want this band to be forgotten
Yes all the small things my favourite song by blink-182 and can I just say this is great vocals from Tom here too even with a reasonably deep voice here he still pulls this song perfectly
Whoever they invited onstage to sing with them has a very deep voice even deeper than Mark’s and Tom’s(from 2003-present)
it's Robert Smith from The Cure, you should do some research why he on their song.
you can tell there's lots of tension, mark and tom are both trying to out-do each other in feeling this.
Blink -182 can fix my soul
The things i would do to be at that show!
i was there :)
+Jake Farron Merlin The envy :c
CoLomBiaSauriO best live show ive been to ever :)
Jake Farron Merlin I bet.
+Dylan Burton and that's part of what is good there, you can feel the anger, the tension, which makes it sounds incredible. It reminds me of Oasis ^^
yup, better than Skiba 1000%
Finally found asthenia live :) my favorite song
I think this was an awesome point in Blink's history bc they didn't really obviously hate each other, Tom's voice wasn't bad, the band worked together well, AND they had all their good albums and songs out.
awesome! how the guy doesnt want to be in blink anymore, nervertheless he put out one of the best concert EVER!!
In Asthenia we see Tom's first use of the slur
Haha
I was here the night before this and there didnt appear to be any tension whatsoever, little did we know, was still the best night ever, im 30 now and i have seen Blink, AvA and +44 many times since this but this will always be the best! There is pro shot video footage of this tour, but I don't think it'll ever be officially released, at least not anytime soon...so most likely it will be leaked.
Damn, Robert Smith sounds exactly like on the record Live
Oh my good Mark talking about lighter yes he’s awesome
The quality of this album during this era was underwhelmed cause of our boys breaking up
I’ve noticed Tom has the American flag on his shirt and does that a lot with AVA prod this was the beginning of the end of Tom’s era part 1 of blink-182(2009-2015 was part 2 of Tom’s era)
God bless Indonesia. Thank you guys!!!
the fastest ive ever seen blink!!!
don't think they will ever play this fast ever again first off tom is not in the band tom does have the energy to play fast he just doesn't tryAlso Mark looks like hes in his 60s even though hes in his 40s but I don't think mark has this much energyI'm not sure how fast matt can play so no infothe only person who could actually play this fast is probably travis
I really would love a live dvd of this gig
ironic how they hated each other here. They always sound amazing fast and loud. This concert is top class.
Goodbye Blink. (again)!
HERMOSO THE CURE Y BLINK 182 MIS 2 AMORES JUNTOS LLOROOO!!!
this blink was the best!!

I was there well the manchester concert in feb and dec of that year 👍🔥
Why does Tom sound so aggressive haha it’s almost as if he’s about to jump offstage and punch someone and Mark saying”feeling this”is like woah dude calm down quite a good performance actually and the crowd are going crazy too
poor robert smith.. was in the middle of a shootout and even didnt knew it
How mark introduces their bass tech to the crowd who’s name is Ronny and then he asks Tom if he’s OK about him doing it
that boys dont cry cover with robert smith!!
I don't fucking know where the hell you get this videos, but THANK YOU.
Gotta love Mark singing to Robert Smith
Urm so one minute Mark’s singing and then Tom starts singing wtf is this a crazed moment if I don’t know what
Mark and Tom weren't really getting along at this point in time, but man, this is when they were best live.
(3 hours before concert)
fan filming: "mom do you have a shoe i can record video of the concert tonight with?, awesome thanks!" (records video with shoe)

100% tension pal. You are nuts if you don’t think so. This is wat difference from past performances.

nah, you have to compare the 1999 big day out video to this. very differentn feeling watching this
Best Version of Blink-182 era
best show ever
In one week this will be ten years ago. Mark thinks this is to fast indeed look at his face at 39:21
Haha Tom having a go at the crowd for not singing lol that’s funny and my god his voice keeps alternating from high to low pitched like a dial being turned
Haha this song is funny and I love how Mark sings louder than Tom here like it’s some sort of competition as to who can sing louder and better
Oh dear Mark’s bass wire is tangled up haha poor Ronny(Mark’s bass tech) has to fix it and Travis speed drumming to Josie
What I don't get is if you go and watch all the Cheetah videos of them recording this album, they were getting along so well, so how within not even a year of that did they grow to hate each other and eventually break up? Just happy they're back together now :)

Don Beck and box car racer was apart of all the fighting too Mark was upset that Tom went and started that too.
Exactly. It's almost like the split was by design, like they wanted to show us that at any age, it is possible to fuck up a good thing. Almost as if to say "Do you understand what these lyrics are about?" So many fans grew. It's strange and awesome all at once.
Mark being a crazy person is just great
And Tom ran offstage to change his guitar for some reason poor Travis must’ve been so confused
at 29:20 you can def see the tension in marks face
Dude earlier on in the show you can see it. Like when they play What's My Age Again? and Tom sounds angry on that song and not only that but they're playing mega fast on all their songs. tyler, mark always has made wierd expressions while being on stage. im pretty sure that wasnt tension. its been like that since they started playing.
Moriah Mahan thats true, i do notice it a lot, but in my opinion he just looked a little pissed haha.
It's almost like he knew what was coming from rehearsals and knew he was gonna phrase the song weirdly.
this is the raddest thing I've ever seen
travis tempo is unstable. he is becoming faster and faster at a certain moment. but this live concert is the wildest ones best era
Anggera Prasetyo He was having drug issues around that time, on top of that, the tension was high with Mark and Travis against Tom, it seems like they're playing fast and also trying to be louder than one another.
Yes it is
Nice dancing Tom haha and how he made Travis drum faster
awesome
I swear at the start though Mark didn’t sing”I miss you”twice before his verse
if a band can sell out Wembley back to back nights they deserve hall of fame. that's all there is to it. 70 thousand per night
Travis looked so scary at the beginning of I Miss You. The way he moved his head.
Who just came onstage to play with them?
Holy shit why is Easy Target SO FAST
Nightowl333 Nevermind, every song is too fast. It really ruins it, doesn't give the melody a chance to sink in
Nightowl333 They were really angry with each other at the time.
Oh he’s getting the audience to participate
And he gets the crowd singing it too
better more songs fast than slow and leaving some out. energetic too
at 19:17 it glitches out and then after that the audio and video are off sync :(
The rock show I knew that straight away haha
This audio is all over the place
pretty cool to see tom playing a jaguar
