I hope I am not white splaining, so if you truly don’t understand why they maybe wearing a keffiyeh, how the keffiyeh is tied to the conflict in Palestine and various other things. I explain what I can’t. But if that’s not the issue, you can ignore everything or ask a question.
Maybe they are also another American like me or something, as we tend to wear keffiyehs as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian people and the suffering they are going through. Many of us Americans realize and acknowledge that even though there is a call to wear the keffiyeh, we are not from the the region or culture where the Keffiyeh comes from, so we may be ignorant of any cultural significance it may have if worn a certain way, so some of us are trying to do but all we know is that we don’t know and we are appreciative of people showing acceptable ways for us outsiders to wear it. More and more of the US is becoming pro-Palestinians and realized what we knew about the situation was all wrong( we are becoming vocal about the actual facts while calling out the lies.
