well nothing is so good as this i compared a couple but this one is the best its easy and accurate like no other i know its expensive but its realy the only miter saw you ever have to buy
The Kapex is indeed a class act, but I would never use it to fit an internal miter on a baseboard no matter how accurately it cuts. Internal mitres in skirtings, crown moldings etc should always be scribed, not mitered, especially if the angle is not a perfect 90 degrees.
Best quality tools ever. I use a combination of Makita and Festool, festool mainly saws. It's just amazing, the quality and the many ways of adapting the tool for use.
To mistoffernie Thank you for your comment If you have ever worked with Festool products you would understand, The quality, the accuracy,The feel of the machine,The engineering that goes into the machine is beyond explanation, this machine is a life timer, Amortize the cost of this machine and it is WELL worth the price A dictionary full of logic for his machine. If you want to by Wal Mart quality DO NO BUY THIS MACHINE never be happy with #2 or #3 when you can buy #1, LOGIC LOGIC,
I think this is great if this is how you make your living. Productivity etc. But if you're just a weekend warrior doing the odd set of jobs or other project based wood working it's a little overkill. Upon saying that, If I win the lottery ... poppa's getting a festool shop.
no, it's because Internal mitres in skirtings, crown moldings etc should always be scribed, not mitered, especially if the angle is not a perfect 90 degrees
+Konrad Peruta What a load of crap, internal mitres, have you ever fitted skirts.Way to dear,if you are a good lad you could do this job with a bog standard mitre saw.

Nice saw, I have no complaint after 2 years. Worth it.
Saw needs a digital readout(in 1/10 of degrees) when you swing the head left and right!!
Incredibly useful....!!
I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure that this kind of background music constitutes cruel and unusual punishment.
good miter saw for the shop and trim carpentry, rough carpenters would do the job using a skill saw .
well nothing is so good as this i compared a couple but this one is the best its easy and accurate like no other i know its expensive but its realy the only miter saw you ever have to buy
When you till it to the left and then to the right you need to remove both fences??? 4:43

Don`t see the logic to it..
My 3-1/2 year old kapex just took a crap on me. I think it is the armature. Looking for a video to help me out.
