Whoever wrote the lyrics, knows some serious Urdu literature. I usually don't listen to Punjabi songs mostly because I don't understand them but this song is just incredible.
Same, not into punjabi songs, especially the Indian punjabi ones but this one's an exception.
Most Punjabi songs sadly released and those gaining popularity are mainstream with nonsense lyrics. But we have our own hidden gems with Surinder Kaur, the Nightingale of Punjab, as well Harbhajan Mann, Ravinder Grewal, Gurdas Mann, and so many more brilliant singers! This is just the tip of the iceberg:)
