The movie must just have a really drab color palette in general because I thought it still looked very cold/gray apart from skin tones looking redder on this one vs the original MGM Blu. You can actually see the film grain now too.
Yes film grain is definitely visible now.
Silly question, how does the pic quality compare to the OOP arrow
The Arrow BD is perfectly fine, but it's only a standard BD. The KL version offers 4K HDR. I just got the standard BD and I think it looks great. But I never bought the Arrow BD. It was long OOP by the time I found out about it.
Where did you import this from?
The Arrow release looks like garbage compared to this new transfer from Kino Lorber
