i’m happy to help ! I really just learned from playing along to mainly green day records, so I would recommend just playing to your favorite songs to start off. I play pretty hard usually because I feel like it gives it a better feel, so learning how to play hard while also keeping your wrist loose is really important. I also think watching other people play could be really helpful, I know i’ve watched SO many green day concerts to try and imitate his strumming style. if you’ve got any other questions i’d love to answer them, I hope I helped out tho ! :)
