  • Enjoy a tour of my elevator parts collection as of March 31, 2021. Not a whole lot has changed since the last video, but I have acquired a few new pieces and have wired up more stuff.
    A big thank you to everyone who has given items to me for this display! It is greatly appreciated!

    At 5:23 - that was the original chime of the Burlington elevators at Bloomingdales at Short Hills Mall. I haven’t come across very many of those.

    I love your collection! Could you show how to wire a micro-comm elevator display? I have a ThyssenKrupp Destination Dispatch floor indicator that would be great to wire up!

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks!! Unfortunately, without the micro-comm driver, you won't be able to do anything. I recently hooked up my micro-comm driver to a custom controller I made that controls 5 of my displays. I'll be making a video on that here soon.

      Don’t be annoying about it. I’ve seen so many people beg and beg for parts and that is a huge turn off. Other than that keep an eye on eBay.

    Do you know if you can do a detailed tour and wiring video of that Thyssenkrupp button at 18:03? I know it looks like an Aurora button which just has a MAD base, but I’m sure thats the TK button (that we shall not say the name of) and I always wondered how those work

    • @stlelevators
      @stlelevators  2 роки тому

      It doesn’t have a mad base. It has a special circuit board which has a pre programmed microcontroller on it. So far I have been unable to get that particular board working, but I have a plan for how I could make the button work using a different board.
