Cyprus can be diplo vassalized pretty easily at game start (just get relations to 190) or if a certain ruler gets on the throne there's an event that will trigger that gives them the option to become your vassal or refuse. They're more likely to accept.
I wish you focused more on trade companies and mercantilism. While it maybe not the best way to build a strong empire, it's definitely fun enough to play around. With max out mercantilism and burgers estate, you can achieve more than 500% province trade modifier, which will turn 2-3 trade center into 70-80% of trade share in the node. Additionally, since you don't control many provinces in a node, it will generate extreme amount of local production at every node. I really recommend trying to play Venice and don't sell Suez, instead build it and proceed to conquer every trade center on the coast in Asia. It is extremely fun and unique play style. You can also experience fun of mercenary ideas and extreme amount of wealth.
@@crispyatom Ah, it seems you’re right! Selecting multiple provinces has been in the game for years, as well as transfer occupation, but the transfer occupation button dissappeared if multiple provinces was selected until the King of Kings DLC update in september 2023. My bad!
Vassalizing Cyprus: if its post 1458, when Cyprus gets a female ruler/regency you will get an event relatively quickly(mtth 6 months meaning around 1 year). The King of Cyprus, where you can vassalize cyprus(cyprus will always accept vassalization)
All of the big three of the middle east are incredibly fun and powerful tags to play as, I'd dare to say they might even be top 3 of the whole game (with Timmy holding 1 and Otto/Mamluk being a tie)
I wouldn't say it's a bad deal if you're playing tall, admin points are kinda useless later on if you're tall since tax drops off fast and exploiting tax to make room for manpower & trade/goods produced makes your provinces way more efficient. Admin for merchantilism isn't to bad then.
the conditions on orming the mamluks are so lax it aint even funny, any iqta can just form egypt by holding one province(probably 2 when you factor in the coastal province to reach it) after the mamluks die
take cairo and the suez straight for 20% goods produced, 20% gov cap, 1% army tradition decay, western units, 300 gov reform progress, a colonist, AND 20k ducats, at the low low cost of... time ig?
Stop the video uploads. Next Wednesday we need you well rested and ready for another glorious win !

It's a new update, i believe
@@crispyatomNah transfer occupation has been in the game for years
@@KayJay01 yeah i knew about that, what i meant is that transferring multiple provinces at once instead of choosing it one by one

As I said in another of your videos: you have to take exploration in order to get the Bread Basket achievement.
He has that already.
You should play Austria. Immediately.

Do you consider the Suez canal cheese to be comparable to Ottoman eyalet cheese?
nah the suez canal cheese isn't as bad
Reading rohr automatically makes me think it’s some random french noble name but there’s no fucking way
