Crowdfunding for Unique Jimi Hendrix Documentary

My name is Corey Washington. I am an educator and author of two Jimi Hendrix books - Nobody Cages Me and Jimi Hendrix Black Legacy. I have been studying Jimi Hendrix from a scholarly POV for almost a quarter of a century. The bulk of my research has focused on how Jimi's overall impact extended beyond rock and the blues and branched out into multiple genres like R&B, Funk, jazz, and hip-hop. It is essential to show the younger generation how Jimi's influence still reverberates today.
I want to create a well-researched, unique, and entertaining documentary that touches on aspects of Jimi's life, influence, and impact that has been underreported, misrepresented, and in some cases, completely omitted from his numerous books, documentaries, etc.
