- After what feels a very long time our eventing season has finally started 🙌 Tina and I headed to Moreton in Dorset for the BE90. The ponies found it VERY exciting to be back out!
Absolutely loved editing this vlog guys as I hope you do watching it, it's certainly jammed pack and I tried to cut it down as much as I could but it's still more like a movie 🙈

I really love that you talked about infection control and how you wipe everything down before stabling at a show. I don't think it's something I've heard mentioned in an equestrian show vlog before, but it's so important.

I think Lola did amazing and Nala was such a tinker to chew through her lead but like every good equestrian there is always a extra lead rope on hand but this vlog just made me feel a little sense of normal considering the times so can’t wait for more so thank you
Hahaha it as literally in seconds too the little monkey 🐶 glad you enjoyed it and it gave you some normality. The world does seem to be moving slowly back to normal thank goodness x

Great to see you & Lola out & eventing! I think how you handled this vlog was great! I love the voice overs plus it's less stress for you while you're at the event. Would have loved to see more of the XC but understand about a camera person trying to cover it. Most excellent! First one of the season with more coming, you & Lola will only advance. Stay safe! 💖🐎😎

I loved that this got to be a longer vlog with the overnight! I really enjoyed getting to see more of the facility and the xc and stadium course walks. Cool under water angles during Lola's bath!

The electric connector from my trailer to truck is honestly just as difficult as yours. Glad I'm not alone! Easier to back to the hitch than it is to plug it in. lol So happy to watch another eventing vlog! And a long one at that! Well done!!

Brilliant Vlog, and a huge well done. It must have been a bit daunting for the first event after such a long gap, no wonder Miss Lola was a bit spicy in the dressage, it was a big ask. She looked really fit and enjoying herself. Cannot wait for uour next event xxx

Social media and horses is really hard. When my horse isn't doing anything interesting, I don't do social media because I don't think it'll be interesting. When he is doing something interesting, we are too busy doing that for me to create content.
It certainly can be a struggle but I love both riding and creating content so try my best to meet somewhere in the middle ☺️

That's what we were concerned about on the way up. Thankfully we moved everything before the night time rain ☺️
how does eventing scoring work i have always wondered??
It's the lowest score wins. Dressage is marked on a series of movements marked out of 10. The percentage is then taken from a 100 giving you your dressage score. Then any faults in the jumping phases are added :) xx
