I do hope Honda give us a 400 or 450 Rally with the same ethos as the 250/300 so long service intervals and an un-stressed engine. A 45bhp A2 bike basically. The KTM 390 Adventure R looked great, and that fits the bill of the above... but it is a KTM, and who knows if the brand will even exist in a years time sadly.
Be very interesting to see what price the new DRZ will come out at. I wonder if Suzuki might be tempted to make a rally version? Did you check out the KLE from Kawasaki ? Should prove interesting too
I'm looking forward to the new Kawasaki W230 and the Honda CB350, both aircooled 4 stroke singles. The old Suzuki SP370 and SP400s and 1980s DR400s were the best for seat height. 2000 onwards DRZ400s are way too high, ridiculous.
I agree Pezza, the DRZ and the 450 GS seem to be the pick of the new bikes. I love the look of the GS..at least they’ve had a proper go this time, the 310 was a half-arsed attempt. I know, I had one 😂…I doubt I’ll ever get an electric bike myself. I’d rather have a 40 year old petrol bike personally. Ps..that electric car looked like something out of Despicable Me?! 🤷♂️😆
10 grand for a 450? Cant imagine that doing very well at all. The cl looks to be 5 and a half. Much more easy to swallow. One too many cylinders for me though! And the abs should be switchable, definitely, at least on the rear.
The honda 450 was 10k but was suffocated buy EU restrictions due to emissions so had half the power as USA counterpart they sold dreadful here in the UK
I had become unsubscribed somehow. 🤔 In any case, some nice bikes at the show. I'm wondering if the smaller BMW will catch on with those that have found their giant GS is not as easily handled offroad as the promotional videos would have one believe.
Who doesn't like a Honda. 😁 / Could it be possible to get a different brand disk, that would fit the scooter? I'm guessing it's all about the diameter and bolt placement. Are there databases of aftermarket disks, where you could search by those parameters?
Good to see you and Chris there!
👍👍👍
Keep the 650
You know the bike well
This industry has lost its way I'm afraid
Overpriced bikes that they will no doubt tell us we need
Old is Gold
I will keep my 650 until it gets really expensive to repair one day
new...new...new...is that the way to go?
Most of my bikes are over 40 years old now 😅

Yeah I forgot about that, the old Kawasaki kle very solid bikes
Was at the NEC yesterday, was told unofficially that the DRZ will be 8K 😮
Oh dear 🙄 don't surprise me tho

🤔 I think my mates drz is late 90s and I'd say it's the same hight as the new drz

I am not sure I never saw that film 🤣 that's not a good look for a car tho
Thanks for the review, new bike seem to be a lot of money, and as you say about the electric bikes the range is very poor.
I think my 40 year old bike is still better for the environment then the new lithium battery ones
@ I totally agree, that’s why I run around on my old bikes, plus I don’t really like the new bikes, much too complicated for me.

You need to be so exact when doing stuff with brakes
HONDA 😂 ALL THE WAY WAKE UP YAH FOOLL 😂🤣😭
Probably I would have another honda next
You talk a lot of sense but the nose scratching is a bit distracting.
Sorry had a bit of a cold might have picked something up when I was touching all the new bikes 🤣😱
