First record I ever bought was for those about to rock. First concert Rock I went to was that tour, I believe. It’s a little fuzzy memory wise. Friend of mine was telling me about these records coming out. We were recently in Aberdeen, Washington, where Kurt Cobain lived as a kid and a teen and where he wrote some songs underneath a bridge at a park down the street from his house. There I found Razor Edge 50th anniversary edition. And I bought my daughter a Nirvana shirt, because Walmart is the only place you can get one of those in Aberdeen apparently. Those gold disks are a Walmart exclusive, and AC/DC had signed some deal with them back in the day when Black Ice came out, I believe. 🤔
Just this week, I would check your local store again, or their web site, they show most of them still available there. thank you for watching, Rock On!
Just got back from the show, he Kicked Ass! I got an autograph, he handed me a singed DVD off the stage it was awesome, I am posting concert picks as we speak, thanks for watching!
I wanted to pick up Dirty Deeds, but my local store didn't have that one, love "Problem Child" off that record, thanks so much for watching, have a great week!
That 50th anniversary AC/DC hype sticker is really smart looking. I was thinking I might get the " Powerage " and " Highway To Hell " records. I wondered how the gold vinyl looks. Thanks for showing Mike.
I just listened to Highway to Hell, so many great songs, my local store did have 'Powerage" I may go back for that in a week or two, thank you for watching, hope you are having a great week!
I ❤ banner! I own four records from big box stores. I will be showing a Walmart purchase in a future video. I always look at the records and CDs at "Wallymart". I like color vinyl. I will look forward to the John Waite video. 😊
Thank you so much Catherine, we are up front so I hope to get some good video, I actually just left the venue, he has not arrived in town yet, I want to get his autograph, he meant a lot to me growing up, his solo album, No Brakes had a couple songs "Restless Heart" and "Dark Side of the Sun" both helped me through some tough times, thanks again for watching, have a great week!
Very cool buys Mike. No apologies needed for shopping at that evil giant . Walmart does not sell records up here in Canada, so I’m never tempted. Cheers.
Thank you for watching, for some reason these gold pressings just grabbed my imagination, my old used copies were in bad shape, and I thought folks would enjoy these colored pressings, adds a little fun into our hobby, have a great week!
Highway to Hell is my favourite album by AC⚡️DC,you’re so lucky to have seen Bon Scott touring with the band before he passed away.I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on these reissues, been trying to get their stuff for years even used but I don’t have much luck scoring them so I’m happy they re released their albums for their 50th anniversary!
Thank you for watching, I think you will enjoy these, they are beautiful and sound great, I listened to the LIve album again today, thanks again have a great week!
Love these Mike! I just bought Back in Black a few weeks ago and just leaned today there was 8 more albums. I’m gonna have to get them all for my collection!!
Thank you for watching, I eventually learned that they just did the 9 most popular albums, not their entire catalog, I think they are awesome pressings, have a great week!
I saw some of those at Walmart. Pretty cool! At least this way you know you’re getting a clean copy. I hope the banner worked for you and your wife Mike! Take care!
The banner worked out perfectly, John took it showed it to the crowd got a huge cheer, then hung it on the bass amp for the rest of the show, I got video of it hanging there during "Head First" but I didn't post it, sound wasn't just right, thank you for watching Gary, have a great week!
I looked and "Let There be Rock" is the only one I can't find on gold, they did Powerage and High Voltage, so I bet Let There Be is out there, hope you have a great Birthday! Thank you for watching.
Love those Mike. Very nice indeed bro. If I didn't have all those already, these would make a great addition to ones collection. Hell, even if one does have them all, they are great additions. I'll put them on my wish list anyway as usual. Lol! Thanks for sharing your memories dude. So awesome. Wish I'd seen them with Bon, but I was only 11 when he died. Good stuff man. Enjoy the spins now that you got 'em Mike. 😉☺️Cheers bud! 🍻✌️🤘🎶⚡️🤘
First off it’s NOT all their albums it’s a selection of their more popular ones second this is a Walmart exclusive and almost impossible to get because it’s sold out
You are correct I assumed it was all of them because when I looked on their web site they had most of them available, the only ones I didn't see were "Let There be Rock" and Black Ice" and the latest one, I think most of them are still available, I didn't mean to mislead anyone, just thought I would show some records I hadn't seen before, thank you for watching, have a great week!
Thank you for watching, yours don't sound good? take em back, don't put up with bad pressings, AC/Dc rocks and needs to be heard Loud! Thanks again for watching, Peace!
@@mikespins5894 Hi! Tnx for answer me. I didn't mean exactly new records don't sound good. I wanna mean they have a bad sound (digital sound, often no from the orignal master tapes) when we compare them with the originals pressing. I bought many rock records from de iMusic site. AC/DC, Kiss, Scorpions, Within Temptation, etc. And when I listen my oldies records, pressed about 40 years ago, these oldies have a awsome sound! Better than the recentlys. Anohter curiosity, some recent records have some speed up songs. I could noticed then sometimes a song originally with 3:30 minutes is played around 3:20. And of course I checked my turntable that is a excelent vintage direct drive, and it is ok. And this was confirmed by a vinyl store owner that sell me a Kiss record. He had let me know two songs would be spped up. But this is only one more details about rock history. The important is we be happy and "For Those About To Rock, We Salut You".
Ugly coloured vinyl with very bad sound quality. Cheap cash grab and overpriced. I stay with my original vinyl. I send my copy of back in black and dirty deeds back to the retailer..
Thank you for watching, and I understand how you feel, these are probably not audiophile quality, but this is AC/DC after all, I think I lost most of my hearing when I saw them in 79, so they sound good to me, it is a cash grab of course, but it's one that makes some people smile, colored vinyl just adds a little fun to our hobby, I hope you have a great week!
I put that Crue record up because it has a similar cover to that Gorillaz record, they both stole the idea from the Beatles "Let It Be" I should have put that album in the middle instead of "The White Album" I thought that one went well with "Back in Black" Thank you so much for watching!

AC/DC Rocks! Thank you for watching!
Wow John Waite ! I haven’t heard a single thing from JW in 4 decades. Had no idea he was still breathing.
Just got back from the show, he Kicked Ass! I got an autograph, he handed me a singed DVD off the stage it was awesome, I am posting concert picks as we speak, thanks for watching!
"Dirty Deeds...." is a fantastic album with their best B side ever and best blues of "Ride On" , just Great stuff

Love the AC/DC enthusiasm. I «only» got Highway to Hell. Well, see. Very nice banner.

Those are some fantastic looking records! My favorites are Highway to Hell and Back in Black.
Thank you so much for watching, those are both great, I have been listening the Live one a lot lately, they have so many killer songs!
I think it’s cool of Walmart to do that making a lot of good music for the younger generation to discover 😎🤘
