Very unclear. No measurement of Slate. To many undefined lines. Poor picture quality. No subtitles. English version would be of more use to more viewers worldwide. . White background is always more visible for drawings etc.
what he's showing is official german norm approved expertise following strict technical rules you wont get anything better. its a traditional slate work which uses different sized slate. if you are still interested i may be able to provide a transcript

The detail of measurement of the slate is what would clarify things for me. Unfortunately I do not speak German, but have a good idea of what is taking place. Mirko Fischer has been more than helpful in helping me with a few of my questions. His videos are excellent in this method of Old German Slating. What I am looking for is the measurement regarding the placement of the first slate,on the pitch line,with the size of the slate being used. It is as simple as that. If you have any other information,I would gladly appreciate it. It seems there are no books published in English on this subject. A few days ago I ordered a book called “Altdeutsche Schieferdeckung” , (there is no English version in publication). Hopefully this may contain some form of detailed sketches with measurements.
