Good decision making. If he can't throw down the field he'll get burned later by a competent coach/game-plan. Some real pass protection might help. Hopefully some time on the bench will help Fields study up and work on his reads, it's hard to work on that while also trying to win games.
Panthers let Foreman walk to get paid for an affordable 1 yr deal. Meanwhile they signed Miles Sanders to a more expensive 2 year deal. And all they've seen him do is run for negative yards on inside runs.
I can’t believe the Chicago Bears won this game with a backup quarterback in Tyson Bagent while Justin Fields was injured. Tyson Bagent really played well today with no problems
Bears won clock battle 34 minutes - 25 minutes, meaning the offense was nothing spectacular but instead efficient and grinding out yards + time. Offense committed no turnovers and allowed ZERO sacks. Offense did its part to keep defense off the field and allow them to be rested. JF fanboys will however claim all sorts of other things to defend their anointed one.
The Bears honestly have the deepest running back room in the league. All 4 of them could be starters on any team. But the coaching is absolutely horrific. Over 100 penalty yards and the clock management before the half was eye-gouging bad.
The Bears’ defense really helped a young quarterback like Tyson Bagent out by getting after it. Bagent was efficient, not trying to be spectacular, but did his best to protect the football, and they stayed with the running game. Overall, solid performance
Bagent looked better throwing the ball in his 1st career start than I’ve ever seen Fields throw it. Goes through his progressions, keeps his head down field, has mobility and can throw on the run, and had multiple accurate tight window throws.
The defense didn't get a lot of pressure on Hoyer. Late quarter interceptions when down do not spell a great defensive performance. Bagent did extremely well, but the stars on offense were Forman and Moore. Credit those guys more than the defense.
Bagent was safe and efficient and everyone on the team stepped up, especially our O-line and rookies (in particular Stevenson and Wright). But if the Bears could figure out the penalty stuff they could be very competitive.
So basically Fields has better physicals, but has a 64 in awareness... And bagent is a game manager who uses his eyes to trick the defense with an 80 awareness. EDIT: Yes, we have yet to see if he has deep ball power or ball placement, but from what we saw today he makes pretty good throws to the open man, and decent throws on the run. Lets see what he can do the next few weeks.
Bagent isn’t even unathletic. He’s a good dual threat but obviously not to the extent that the offense would be built on that unlike fields. He has a much faster release though
Saw Bagent play his final college football game last December out here in CO, actually wondered what he would do after the game since he was a great D2 College QB whose football career seemingly could’ve ended that day…dude was, and is too talented for that! Happy to see him still playing well and leading the Bears to a win!
It was conservative play calling for sure, but Bagent’s decision making and execution was pretty good. Finally, a well played game by the offense and defense all 60 minutes.

Still not out on Fields but if we keep Bagent, he looks like he’s gonna have a career in the NFL. That was a fun one. GG and Bear down.

I legitimately think he could be a solid starting QB that can win you games in this league. They need to get rid of fields and keep Tyson playing and see how it goes
Maybe because the offense was designed for a qb like him and not around JF? The OC has been trying to shove fields in a pocket passer box for the last 2 years. If they actually designed plays to his skills like the ravens did for Jackson he’d be much better. So much for that “creative genius” though

Trade talks seems like it work final got some impact plays out of the starting secondary.
Justin Fields watching Tyson Bagent take his job
really, couch coaches think they know better...smh
After one don't think so!
10:12
That backflip at the end...
Nothing seems too big for TB17.
Ceiling is limitless.
Tyson Bagent and D'onta Foreman start em all day every day
Bagent looks like he fully belongs out there honestly more than 90% of the QBs in the league. If the bears put fields back in when healthy with a 1-5 start they are wild
Bears defense really did help a young QB stand out like Tyson Bagent out , wow i mean that was just instant mind blowing, who would've thought the raiders would let the bears blow themselves out, raiders do only what they can
Bagent was efficient with the ball. Let's be real he is the reasonthet won today
Bagent/foreman helped the defense, had a near 9 minute drive in 3rd quarter
@@09shelby15exactly bears fans delusional acting like we didn't have our worst QB possible playing against there even worst defense
That Chicago secondary is in a whole other form compared to last season. Opposing offenses beware!
The secondary wasn’t even the problem last year. When your d line has the lowest pressure rate in the past 40 years of the nfl, your secondary is going to get torched. It’s slightly better this year, but If the bears had a decent line their secondary would look even better
@@ThatGuy-nv7cxYou’re correct. I had meant our whole defense when I stated secondary. I forgot it usually refers to the backfield defense.
Bears look so good with a proper QB
low football IQ...
And pass blocking, and a running game and a defense
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@yahyatacneau8694 same supporting cast and coaches that JF had this season so far, and yet today was an all around solid performance... 🤔
If bagent can continue to develop, bears might need to move on from fields.
Yep
True that🙌
ship Fields outta there and start Bagent for the rest of the season, the Fields experiment is officially over.
Bagent looked ridiculously good.. stats weren’t eye popping but his throws were all beautiful
D’Onta Foreman
16 attempts
89 rushing yards
2 rushing touchdowns
5 targets
3 receptions
31 receiving yards
1 receiving touchdown
30.0 Fantasy Points!
Wow. The Bears looked better today then they have in...quite awhile.
Don’t get too excited it was the raiders
8:11 bro is baked out of his mind. Poor bear lmao
I'm a raiders fan for life ..but we need to get McDaniels gone..lose to a backup and you got last year's leading rusher and the best WR on team...smh ..I'm blowed
Field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal field goal
That is McDaniels' strategy
I think they should let Tyson play for the rest of the season Just to see how he does…
Me too
No
😂 The Chicago Bears been so bad that the entire city is ready to jump ship after one win. 🤦♂️
It was more the raiders being bad than the bears being good
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Okay Bears, found out today they have a productive running back core.
Bro i feel like marcedes lewis been in the league before online fantasy football started. Didnt know buddy was still playing in the league. What a career.
Edit: just looked it up. When this dude got drafted the smartphone wasn't even a thing yet.
Da Bears! 🏈🐻⬇️
*Sometimes its good when the Starter Quarterback gets injured.. get to witnessed a True Quarterback all along*
I can’t tell if the Bears are good or the Raiders are bad.
Josh McDaniels is bad....really bad.
The latter.
both
@@kenamaro3942it's honestly amazing how bad the Raiders are in the red zone.
Raiders beat Packers. We beat Raiders. I like to think we beat the Packers now lol
Less than ZERO effort for the Raiders, on both sides of the ball. No positives by anyone in this game.
In my opinion specifically in the second half is a team that really didn't want to win.
i knew that orange undershirt was gonna get 33 some picks too.....QB cant help but hit that neon sign
I openly criticized the bears for signing M. Lewis & R. Tonyan. These 2 have been crucial pick ups for the success in the running game.
Congrats Bagent, great game. Can we turn this season around? Bear Down.
🎻
Bagent is so good outside of the pocket and on the run
This game reminded me of the 80's Bears. Solid D, great offensive line and running. Smart/Scrappy QB that can make plays +all players stepping it up and making plays. =Chicago Bears look like a contender.
The bears suddenly look a totally different team without fields or am I seeing with a different view 🤔
I hope the head coach will keep Justin field out the remainder of the season just to see how far Tyson can take us but he did do a very good job today
Adams got the attention he wanted, but it still didn't result in a W
bro dropped a perfect TD too, lol. Cant stand these players who cry publicly wanting the ball for attention.
@@tieoneon1614Adams not the problem ...I would love for him to be traded to 49ers in exchange for Deebo Samuels
Brian Hoyer vs Tyson Bagent
What a QB duel
why didn’t O’Connell play? dudes 100 times better if not slightly better than Jimmy G?
@@GoatedAtNFSwould not have changed the games outcome sorry bud
Cuz Josh McDaniels is an idiot
@@GoatedAtNFSbecause McDaniels is a terrible coach
@@GoatedAtNFShe's not. He's sucked so far its hilarious
Yes our young rookie QB played very well, but lets not forget it was a team effort, Jaylon's interceptions / pick 6, Foreman... wow, unbelievable. Moore had some clutch catches and Evans stepped up and had some nice runs. All in all, it was an exciting, fun game to watch! We really needed this! Bear Down
Today has been a crazy day for the NFL
I'm telling you Bagent is the most confident QB in the league. He gets it from his Dad. His eyes are always down field, he doesn't get even a little anxious when the pressure is coming. Might be the best backup in the NFL
Here comes the irrational Brock Purdy comparison 🙄
That backflip tho
I say let bagent start again next week and see what he can do with even more reps. He's only going to get better with time. It wasn't a fluke he threw 160 tds in college. Dude can play
Get ready for Bagent, Fields may not get this job back.
I think Fields will learn from Bagent. Fields will still reach his full potential like what we witnessed in the Commanders game.
@@TheRealFlash23no tf we won’t and the chargers will bring u delusional bear fans back to reality for sure 💯
Foreman had a ridiculous game!!! Go Bears.
WE ARE GOOD NOW
😂😂😂😂😂
Sacks allowed by Bears in last 4 games=5, last 4 games under Bustin= 17 allowed. The o-line is fine. It’s the guy behind it that is the issue.
Bagent knows when to get the ball out
FIRE JOSH MCDANIELS!!!!!!
Good game Bagent. The offense and defense played well. Hopefully the Bears will start winning. Go Bears.
They not beating LA next week. #52 Mack Attack
I wonder how many people wear his jersey. I definitely will have mine out.

Justin Fields era might be over in Chicago!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 lol nah
If Fields is medically cleared to play, he will be playing.
