Some of my favorite things about Dimash (other than the obvious enormous artistry and musicality) is his good hearted nature, modesty, and family and human values. Also his sense of humor, politeness, elegance. Actually, I would have to think hard to find some thing I dislike. Maybe that he thinks that cooking is a women's business? Na... not even that. I just love the man.
I especially like his lower range--it is so smooth and warm. But, like someone on down the line here said--I like his modesty, his love for country and family values, his generosity (part of the take from his concerts go to charity--most recently a charity that sends CoVid supplies to places in need), his kindness to his fans and the musicians he works with... those things are what really makes him worthy of respect as a singer AND as a person to me. He has "no holes"--he is the complete package.

I feel same as you - when I was recommended to listen to him, I was skeptical, you know, we hear thousands of singers. But the first song became the second and then I could not stop anymore. He changes people's view and life in so many ways. He's like a cobra (in a good sense), you feel paralyzed from his art and you can't stop listening to him anymore. Plus the fact that he has a heart of gold and is very kind- makes you believe each emotion and word he's portraying, saying or singing. All good things are in this amazing 1 human being, people of the world are lucky to have Dimash.
WHEN I listen AND watch Dimash's face....it doesn't feel or appear to be a "performance". I've seen other "great" singers....but it seems practiced, staged, rehearsed, performed. But when Dimash sings every cell fiber and atom of his being convey that he is LIVING the song in that MOMENT FULLY FROM HIS SOUL. On a technical note, what is so satisfying is that Dimash creates absolute piercing, knife cutting sharpness with his sound AND at the same time the full round RICH OTHER WORLDLY COLOR. HE doesn't just sing lyrics or follow a melody, he make love with the music. HOW LONG WAS THAT NOTE WITH THE MIDDLE EASTERN RUNS? MY GOD MY GOD!
Exactly how I feel. Difficult to put into words the feelings that Dimash arouses in us when he sings but I think you have stated it pretty much the way it is for most of us.

Restart My Love and The Meaning of Eternity are 2 of my favorite songs. Few reactors react to these. As A grandma I love Dimash for setting the example for younger folks. He is modest and kind. He is a true gentleman. He recently posted on his you tube channel an interview of him with English subtitles. May I suggest you watch this. Breathtaking, isn't it? Dimash took a Fiat of a song (sorry, Lionel!! LOL) and made it into a Ferrari. Of course, I'm a huge Dimash fan, and I think that Dimash's once in a lifetime abilities inspire so many of us "normal" musical artists to work harder at our own music and to enjoy it more. Among other things that I like about Dimash, he's not just a singer; he's a passionate story telling performer's performer. He puts his whole heart and soul into every thing he does. He's my personal all time favorite singer. Can't wait to see what he comes out with next.

Aw, Tommy, man, I told you Dimash makes this song transcendent! The first time I heard this cover, for the first half I thought it was good (obvs) but that he was doing it pretty straight. Then he hit that hard left turn and brought in the arabic scales or melismas or whatever that is and I forgot time and space. Dimash mashes up his cultural and stylistic influences and turns this from a nice cover to something legit magical. And, as I've said before, it's truly ludicrous the way he can surprise you in every single song. Dimash's bag of tricks is apparently bottomless. Dude is a beast.
Trust me. It's pretty universal and I can't explain it, but becoming a Dimash fan fundamentally changes you. I don't know if it's witnessing such talent and perfection or what, but my entire life has changed since I discovered him. He has inspired me to do so many things and has shifted my perspective on the important things in life. Soooo many other Dears have a similar story. It's pretty crazy. I can't explain it, but I'm grateful! So about the song.....The power he displays here just blows me away. I'm always amazed every time I watch it.

As always, fantastic job. What is there not to love about Dimash. We have moved together from Marcelito to Dimash,. Now I have another surprise for you. Zhou Shen (Charlie), He is a counter tenor, but don't let that fool you. I first heard him in the Chinese talent show Super Vocals, where he sang Time to Say Goodbye. I could not believe the sweetness of the sound. He is very well known in China, and he took part in Singer 2020, so he followed Dimash's trail. His songs range from Chinese classics to pop. Listen to him sing Memories (from Cats) and My Heart Will Go On and On. You can compare Marcelito, Dimash and Zhou Shen. Sheer WOW. Zhou is a natural counter tenor, but his voice is not shrill at all. He stopped singing because his parents did not think he fit the mold of a popular singer, not tall enough. So he studied dentistry in the Ukraine. A professor there heard him sing and persuaded him to change majors, so he studied the Bel Canto style of smooth beautiful singing. Another of his songs from Singer 2020 is Baby Goodbye, where he shows off his Dimash like skills. I will never stop being a top fan of Dimash, but Dimash is so good, he exhausts me. My favorite part in this video is when you see the reaction from Jam back in the green room. He's the guy in the tan jacket and as the lead singer for the Lion Band, he saw all 13 performances of Dimash in the 2017 Singer season where they also competed. I have always loved Lionel’s “Hello,” but frankly his video is really creepy. It feels more like stalking. Dimash, of course, nails his own version of this classic. There is truly no one in Dimash’s class of musicians.

WHEN I listen AND watch Dimash's face....it doesn't feel or appear to be a "performance". I've seen other "great" singers....but it seems practiced, staged, rehearsed, performed. But when Dimash sings every cell fiber and atom of his being convey that he is LIVING the song in that MOMENT FULLY FROM HIS SOUL. On a technical note, what is so satisfying is that Dimash creates absolute piercing, knife cutting sharpness with his sound AND at the same time the full round RICH OTHER WORLDLY COLOR. HE doesn't just sing lyrics or follow a melody, he make love with the music. HOW LONG WAS THAT NOTE WITH THE MIDDLE EASTERN RUNS? MY GOD MY GOD!

Breathtaking, isn't it? Dimash took a Fiat of a song (sorry, Lionel!! LOL) and made it into a Ferrari. This is one of my favorite performances by Dimash; he dives so deep into the interpretation and brings us along with him.....floating, swimming, delighting. It's simply incredible.

Of course, I'm a huge Dimash fan, and I think that Dimash's once in a lifetime abilities inspire so many of us "normal" musical artists to work harder at our own music and to enjoy it more. Among other things that I like about Dimash, he's not just a singer; he's a passionate story telling performer's performer. He puts his whole heart and soul into every thing he does. He's my personal all time favorite singer. Can't wait to see what he comes out with next.
In my opinion, Dimash is a revolutionary. In fact, I've met many young talented promising artists and kids on the internet who are inspired by this incredible performer. It seems to me that in the future... at a more mature age, Dimash will become a legend... He's already creating his special style and direction in music. Aw, Tommy, man, I told you Dimash makes this song transcendent! The first time I heard this cover, for the first half I thought it was good (obvs) but that he was doing it pretty straight. Then he hit that hard left turn and brought in the arabic scales or melismas or whatever that is and I forgot time and space. Dimash mashes up his cultural and stylistic influences and turns this from a nice cover to something legit magical. And, as I've said before, it's truly ludicrous the way he can surprise you in every single song. Dimash's bag of tricks is apparently bottomless. Dude is a beast.

Trust me. It's pretty universal and I can't explain it, but becoming a Dimash fan fundamentally changes you. I don't know if it's witnessing such talent and perfection or what, but my entire life has changed since I discovered him. He has inspired me to do so many things and has shifted my perspective on the important things in life. Soooo many other Dears have a similar story. It's pretty crazy. As always, fantastic job. What is there not to love about Dimash. We have moved together from Marcelito to Dimash,. Now I have another surprise for you. Zhou Shen (Charlie), He is a counter tenor, but don't let that fool you. I first heard him in the Chinese talent show Super Vocals, where he sang Time to Say Goodbye. I could not believe the sweetness of the sound. He is very well known in China, and he took part in Singer 2020, so he followed Dimash's trail. His songs range from Chinese classics to pop. Listen to him sing Memories (from Cats) and My Heart Will Go On and On. You can compare Marcelito, Dimash and Zhou Shen. Sheer WOW. Zhou is a natural counter tenor, but his voice is not shrill at all. He stopped singing because his parents did not think he fit the mold of a popular singer, not tall enough. So he studied dentistry in the Ukraine. A professor there heard him sing and persuaded him to change majors, so he studied the Bel Canto style of smooth beautiful singing. Another of his songs from Singer 2020 is Baby Goodbye, where he shows off his Dimash like skills. I will never stop being a top fan of Dimash, but Dimash is so good, he exhausts me. My favorite part in this video is when you see the reaction from Jam back in the green room. He's the guy in the tan jacket and as the lead singer for the Lion Band, he saw all 13 performances of Dimash in the 2017 Singer season where they also competed.
