Till 1971 the population of Bangladesh was higher than Pakistan but after the separation Bangladeshi government laid a great emphasis on birth control and launched organised family planning programs as a result of these efforts lasted for decades Bangladeshi government became successful to control the population on the other hand in Pakistan no serious efforts were made in this regard so this is the outcome that till 2024 the population of Pakistan has been increased far more than Bangladesh.
