If you are using the existing wifi network and not using it's built in SSID broadcasting feature, then it should only be dependent on your wifi connection to the device that you are casting from. Basically, if you have full wifi speed on your laptop, then you have full casting speed. Assuming it is using the same mDNS technology that other screen casting devices use.
To connect multiple devices to the ScreenBeam 1100 Plus at the same time you'll need to configure the ScreenBeam to be in Multi-View mode, you can check out our articles on customersupport.screenbeam.com to learn how to access the Local Management, Multi-View mode is in the Features tab in the Display Settings section.
I have connected a feed via HMDI and in the bottom left of the screen I have "Display name ScreenBeam DECC" - How do I hide this when it is displaying the HDMI output?
Sorry for the delayed reply, you'll need to go in the Local Management interface, in the Features tab, in the Display Settings section, change Show Receiver Name to Don't Show, make sure you're on the latest firmware, which you can find on our page at customersupport.screenbeam.com

I am looking for a way to cast media on a USB drive to multiple monitors. Would this work? Would I need a screen beam connected to each TV?

Will this do 4k in extend Mode? The Microsoft Adapter is a dissapointment in this regard. I can only get 1080p on my HP 27qx Display
