@@Kensington2714 I try to avoid HOAs to be honest. My family lives in a well kept neighborhood with a lot of new construction homes coming in and there are no additional fees to speak of.
They remind me of August days as a kid and was a sign to me that summer's almost over and school would be starting soon. I'd never hear the little buggers in June or July....only in August.
What I love about the US, especially in the suburbs like in this footage, is how everything looks organized and clean. I would love to always take a stroll early in the morning and late in the afternoon to dusk in a neighborhood like that! I can only imagine the serenity, the cool breeze, the sound of critters each walk. A perfect place to live and retire for me.
Man, I so wish here in Brazil there were these American neighborhoods, here the sidewalks and houses are all messed up. I envy you, value what you have! It must be amazing to skate on these sidewalks

I'm from Barcelona and I've never been out of Europe, it's awesome the amount of distance between houses and how much nature and space in general. Here, even in neighborhoods and little towns, everything tends to be more packed...
You'd get very bored though as there's nothing to do in the neighborhoods. Due to strict zoning, you would need to take a car to go anywhere or walk hours by dangerous roads with no sidewalk
These houses were built when land was cheap. Nowadays you're lucky if there's 10 feet between houses in new neighborhoods. The town I live in they're starting to build three smaller houses in areas where one house used to stand. :/
@@kingofmontechristo The ability for kids to be able to walk to the park or school by themselves is important. I have a family and would never subject my kids to living in some featureless suburb that has no walkable amenities. Glad my parents raised me in a pre-war suburb where businesses, schools, and parks were integrated into the community.
I live in Charlotte, NC, and what makes me stay in NC are the lush green trees and flowers and the beautiful neighborhoods. Everywhere is going to have areas of less desirable conditions, but North Carolina is truly beautiful.

I've always loved the architecture of American homes, the typical wooden design. In Australia, our homes are very commonly brick which is good to deal with the warm climate, but it's nice to see the wooden ones that really give America it's identity as we know it.
not all houses is the US are made of wood, here in florida houses are made of concrete and are built to withstand category 3+ hurricanes, its mostly either the early 1900s wooden homes that have been properly maintained through out the years or the newly built suburbs like these
My wife is from Phoenix Arizona. We decided to move to my homestate of NC a few months ago. We were taking the dogs on an evening walk when she goes "what is that NOISE?" I told her that they're cicadas. "They're deafening!" She has since grown accustomed to it and likes them, but I hadn't thought about how strange these must sound in person for the very first time😆
My wife is from the UK and had never heard them either. I still recall the first time I heard them back in the 70s while camping in the Appalachians at the age of 3. They were deafening and I was mesmerized.
The USA is my pipe dream. I may not be able to visit this country, at least there is a video. I really like these videos, they are so atmospheric, cozy, and the sound of cicadas makes them even better. Since it's snowing and freezing outside, this video warms me up)
i immigrated to the USA long time ago, I lived in North Carolina and other states, America is beautiful country, but what make America greats and beautiful its people.
I always try to learn more about the USA online, and it's really hard to find the nice neighborhoods we see in movies and learn about the architecture. It's almost like they don't want to post about it. Thanks for the video. America is huge and I'm looking foward to be able to guess what state or region I'm at by looking at the houses.
There are literally tens of thousands of neighborhoods that look like this from Atlanta all the way up to Maine. Look on the east coast outside any major city, just use the filters on Zillow and you will find these neighborhoods. They are the classic “American” dream neighborhood, which there are a ton of on the east coast.
I live in Greensboro. Just a hop and a skip away from this area. I would love to reside in a place like this. I pray God blesses me the opportunity to live in this kind of neighborhood 🙏🏼.

Its the LUT and lightroom garbage most people add in post. They are beautiful when used correctly but most overdo it for the "instagram/tiktok look" and end up making it unwatchable.

i often go for long walks and i just appreciate that there are moments where you just stop and contemplate the landscape, the view. thank you for doing that
is it? it´s basically a village. An extremely posh one, rich one... but still a village. No places of culture, no sports facilities, no playgrounds, no places to hang out and socialize. No schools, no kindergartens, no nothing. Everything is miles away including work.
These walk videos of super beautiful neighbourhoods are so amazing and peaceful to my brain that I started watching these videos before going to bed every night

is it? it´s basically a village. An extremely posh one, rich one... but still a village. No places of culture, no sports facilities, no playgrounds, no places to hang out and socialize. No schools, no kindergartens, no nothing. Everything is miles away including work.
