Bon Jovi will be releasing their 16th studio album "Forever" this June, so Jon tells Matt about the making of the record. I had health challenges born with Stills disease & lower spine deformity rheumatoid arthritis from birth, I was dealt those cards that not much on offer for a career with those odds. Luckily I was blessed with a singing voice and was lucky enough to find people to back me and released a single in 1985. My manager even met Ritchie Sambora a lovely funny exceptional talented man who offered to meet with me on tour When Slippery When Wet was just released. I met him in Ipswich my home gig Bon Jovi did with a view to maybe get a song? Such a generous kind offer. But sadly things were done behind my back to stop that from happening, circumstances happened to me that not only affected me and my career because I did not do something someone wanted me to do. Ritchie Sambora also has a brilliant voice. Bon Jovi is nowhere the same without him. I am so grateful to Ritchie for trying to help me. He even played me Bad Medicine that they had a demo of way before it was put on their next album! 💜💜💜

It’s a shame Jon did not let Brian Robertson ( Thin Lizzy) join Bon Jovi play with them onstage Wembley 1989 to play their planned Boys Are Back In Town. Even more strange with Robbo standing side stage that Jon decided last minute to cancel the planned jam with that song. Jon had put out in the UK press he wanted Robbo to join him for a jam, when he heard that of course Robbo said he would turn up for Jon. He played Boys Are Back In Town as an encore everywhere else! Hmmmmm well come to think about that I think I know why! Shame. 💜💜💜

In the age of the internet, you can look it up. After Richie's dad Adam died, he turned to alcohol. Then Heather divorced him. So, he sank deeper into a hole. Watch his video congratulating Bon Jovi into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. He and Orianthi(his then girlfriend) posted a video. Richie was clearly drunk. So, it's no surprise that Orianthi left Richie for Tracii Guns.

John Shanks is one of the worst things that ever happened to the band.

Legendry is a poor start. Just so boring like the last few lead singles from the last couple of albums. Hoping the other songs are better. But agree, Shanks has to go. Hes Jons Yes man and wont challange him.
