Blink thrust doesn't have hyper armor and is relatively slow so if someone blocks the first hit and immediately m1 after they cancel the entire move. Lunge doesn't ladder/combo extend and can be easily blocked. In other words holding F + spam jumping and end lag abusing lancer is a really easy way to counter lancer.

The ulq take is so real, i always hated playing against him and then they made him stronger💀. It feels like his base has no cooldowns and he gets 3 combo extends, an autoaim combo extender, an evasive, and a stupid fast beam that guardbreaks.

A whole lot of these "unnecessary buffs" are just the devs revisiting rushed characters and fixing terrible moves that didn't work properly (i.e. ulquiorra's slice, arlong's shark teeth, gogeta's kamehameha)

Gojo is still annoying. He still has a TOD off a single stray M1 and it builds like 75% of his mode gauge. Approaching Gojo at all is a death sentence cuz if he somehow blocks anything you do, you are immediately getting dumpstered by M1's into down slam into blue into m1s into his combo into downslam into blue cuz he can just do it twice (thanks infinity) and then downslam into red. My friend lands this every single goddamn time and its beyond obnoxious.

This is not the biggest issue for me. I came back not so long ago and m1 range is non existant and theyre not smooth. It feels like im playing on my old school chromebook its that shit. Im not even lagging. Also the ohma counter nerf was unnecessary, now it doesnt work half the time, it was never a great counter, it did like 15 damage and you had to very close. I shouldve not came not honestly. The games playercount is going down yet its laggier than it ever was for me, not to the point where m1s should not be smooth.

I'd say I agree with the statement about Ulquiorra but he also gets wiped out hella quick in Ressurecion. Segunda Etapa is a different story Segunda is on par with some high tier modes. But unless you get the combo started immediately when going Res, and your opponent has full HP, you probably arent gonna reach Segunda in a single mode. Im saying this because Ive 1v1'd Ulquiorras and they usually dont reach Segunda until 2nd mode.

He is one of the most eazy characters to fight against and any character can be played by a player with skill and by a player with no skill. Second of all, prestige characters can't be good because they are not meant to be actual viable characters. It's for you to have something unique that most players don't have to show off your effort.

Lag might be a you issue but the m1s have always been janky, since they’re client sided and higher ping gives you better m1 range to compensate
