Ive just been messing around using all the different new capablities while watching this and adding extra percussion etc - making a tune on the fly and it sounds unbelievable - I'm a relative novice with ableton - its only been a couple of years - I can only imagine what will be produced in more experienced hands - Game changer for sure

Are you able to use the comping feature while triggering automation and the mangling loop device?
More stuff to make EDM. How much easier do you need it to be to for you to make House Music ?

lol the comping feature is so strange... like why can't you just hold ctrl and use your mouse to mouse it to a different track. Its like a teenie bit more effort but like.. I just don't get it. You can have multiple samples or recordings on tracks turned off and solo them to listen to them just as the same. Especially if you're gunna just select random parts of the clips to mash together... You can do this in any single daw. I don't know why so many people go crazy about comping. I think its cause people maybe using it more of a technique now, because thats what it is. Its a feature for a technique that people didn't really bother with probably really maybe. I've been always doing "comping" but just with normal track channels so when I heard about this feature I was just like..... wot, and btw I only use Ableton???

MAC 10.14.18 user here... Just upgraded to Abe11 and experiencing CPU glitching with little more than a VST and a few of the new plug-ins..... Anyone else having problems?

I'd really like ableton to make some koasillator effect/ rack that you could build off. I haven't done music in a few years but thus video just gave me the idea. Maybe push3 will have x/y pad. Not sure how familiar you are with kaossilator but it can be cool at times and I could see ableton implementing something like that with push and racks. Please xcuse my peasant terminology

11:00 the macro variation automation recording is cool but it's a shame there's still no way to step automate device macros from the Push. You have to manually draw the automation in with the pen tool.
I hope they implement this soon too.
And yet we still can't do round robins in sampler :(
It's not built in by default, but you can get close - load different samples for every single velocity value in sampler, or use the instrument rack to house all your samples and map a macro to the chain selector, use an LFO to automate it. This is a really old trick but it still works great
