- The reemergence of the Dark Nexus has led to fiercer competition for Singularities than ever before-but a small group of Heroes is transforming the conflict. The Realm Crafter they’ve developed doesn’t just bring Heroes from multiple dimensions together in the Nexus-it actually fuses them, and all of their friendships, rivalries, and powers.

I would never stop playing HotS if every event was a crossover between blizzard franchises, that's the whole selling point for me

Propably the point of this skin is that Anduin both looks like and is voiced by the same guy that voices Valerian. Even some StarCraft heroes refference it.

Hey man, a skin's a skin. Not gonna change the gameplay much considering Arty is still in the rough place he was before if he gets expected to be main tank. He can dish out some more damage with a new lvl 1 talent now, but that's about it.

Soberker HotS is still one of the greatest games Blizzard has ever created.

I love being able to play characters from some of my favorite video games voiced by some of my favorite voice actors all while riding a zergling into battle.
Even in a crossover event between two specific series, OW still has to try and worm its way in.

Thanks to the folks continuing to bring new updates despite the loss of resources.
I started to play the game almost a month ago and it's good to know that it's still getting updates
It's great that they've finally rework Dva, and the new yellow Dva mech skin is cool and all....
but in the pilot mode of the yellow Dva, she seems to have no eyebrows.
This was always the direction Blizzard should have gone. Not random “nexus” heroes nobody cared about. This crossover event stuff is my Jam. Thank you Blizzard

Some cool looking skins! Playing a hero with a cross-franchise skin like these or others should net you quest rewards for those franchise quests.
I am not sure if anyone else thought this, but when I saw the title craft wars, I was envisioning skins that looked like they were made out of yarn, cardboard, and pipe cleaners.

Of course HOTS still has a playerbase.
But the playerbase is very small and decreasing.
Also it doesn´t get updates that often anymore, it´s nearly dead on Twitch and news sites etc.
HOTS e-sport is dead.
It´s only a matter of time when HOTS will be abandoned by Blizzard and won´t get updates anymore because the player base is too small.

I thoght that this game wasn't being support anymore, I'm glad they're still believing in this game!!
This game died long ago. It is kept in a zombie/undead state now. But alright. I remember when I was still playing it (some 3-4 years ago, the whole world was different then), and it felt like I was in one of those abusive relationships with someone (of course, I was the one being abused). So I'm glad I could just say no more and uninstall it. I feel much better now and having actual fun with other games.
But my experience with this game was like this: I learned a hero (with its multiple builds and when to use them for each situation or matchup), and then Blizzard would release a new patch every 2-3 months, redesigning the whole hero from the ground up, and forcing me to eschew everything I had just learned, and start all over again. They did this to all my favorite heroes (like 15 or 20 in all of them). Eventually I was afraid to learn anything new for fear of it becoming useless by the next patch. Yeah. I was having no fun anymore.
Another thing that killed this game was the Overwatch heroes. I was never sold into playing OW, I just liked my classic Starcraft/Warcraft/Diablo heroes, I loved Illidan, Raynor, Tyrael, pretty much everyone of the 3 "classic" Blizzard franchises except a few ones like Gul'dan or Azmo or Chen. When OW was launched, I had no idea how it would affect HotS (the game I truly loved back then) but it didn't take long for me to realize. Every OW hero was busted beyond recognition. Tracer, Genji, Dva, Lucio (yes even Lucio was retarded). At one point, in pretty much every game there would be at least one OW hero, and more often than not, if the other team didn't happen to have one in their lineup, they would lose. It was brutally evident they were trying to promote their shiny new game at the cost of ruining another.
I realized that they were destroying their own game and my psyche along with it. So I understood I had to go and let them self destruct alone. And I uninstalled. It was not long after that that they announced their decision to move the dev team to other projects and close off their league and e-sports division. I had truly enjoyed the game during its first years, so the decision of shutting it down wasn't easy. It was truly an abusive relationship, you don't want to just finish it off because you believe things can still improve or change for the better but it just never happens. I couldn't just accept it and do it overnight, but I did it, and I'm feeling better now. Learning and using my knowledge for my own entertainment... in other games. Where I am actually rewarded for learning skills and I feel the devs respect having their player base, modest as they may be.
I couldn't have posted a more honest & true explanation myself. This is EXACTLY my experience with HoTS.

I absolutely understand your frustration but you mentioned 'content' and since a new type of brawl is being tested I thought it was unfair.
I've always been impressed with how the HotS devs take the archetypal art styles (protists/draenei, Gazlowe mech/constructor unit), and converts them into a cohesive bunch, animations and all. Same reason I used to love Amalgam comics from Marvel/DC crossovers.
