    Can be explained in a better way and seems few points are missing
    1. Where dissimilar metals are in contact, one will act as cathode and other will act as anode based on the active metals list in the periodic table. Anode will corrode. For this we need to isolate dissimilar metals using insulating gaskets
    2. If pipe is in under ground, pipe will be become anode as earth is huge potential cathode. To avoid pipe corrosion, use a less active material so that it will act as sacrificial anode and pipe become cathode
