I've been looking at the lv exhaust for a while. Im just hesitant because it looks like it exits onto the passenger peg and i ride 2 up often. Do you have an experience with 2 up with this exhaust? Any insight on this would be appreciated. Thank you
Have same bike, same color scheme same tuner lol. I have a dominator HP8, I like the sound. It's not to loud but sounds great when your getting on it. My question for you is, is that a Sargent seat? How do you like it? How far have you road on it?
Yes, it is indeed a new Sargent seat. Haven’t made a review yet since I haven’t gone on a long ride, but it’s definitely different support than the stock seat, it feels like it better spreads out the “pinch” points. But I’ve only been on it maybe 35 continuous minutes so far, which isn’t enough. I really need a full day ride, I’ll be able to tell immediately. But so far it’s an improvement of the general riding position, it just feels better, and doesn’t really affect the height of the seat.
@TheSunderlands1 that's cool. I'll be on thr lookout for that review. I have trip planned in June, tryna decide now if ima roll with the stick seat. I too, haven't rode the bike more than about a hour straight.
@@JUICEbox-313 I’ve been on a week-long trip with the stock seat and then the OEM comfort seat the year after. The comfort seat can give you a few more hours on that first day but both leave you in discomfort the rest of the trip. Of course your butt may be more tolerant than mine, but the Sargent looked like it could spread out the pressure points a lot better. I even strapped a little foam cover on the seat to see if that would help, and it kinda does, but it’s the general shape of the seat that did me in. Hoping the Sargent solves the issue.
What mpg are you getting with the flash at highway speed with and without cruise? I got the flash with a full Akra and a bmc filter and my highway mpg took a pretty good hit so I’m curious what you are getting
@@TheSunderlands1are you doing much interstate riding around 70-80mph? I’ve noticed around 75-80 I’m getting around 40 mpg or less now. My average readout before the flash was above 48 mpg
@@caputo116 it does not have a catalytic converter in the US model, but I believe the European model can come with a converter. But I do not smell like exhaust fumes once I’m done riding, even with hours-long rides (or at least, not noticeably more than with the stock exhaust). Note that I also have a tune, so it could very well be that the tune is taking advantage of this exhaust nasty exhaust fumes.
Got mine few days ago. I have pretty strong engine vibrations after 5k. Happens when you want to accelerate fast and have some fun. Keeping the revs in a rage 5-7k doesn’t feel like a huge joy at all. Do u have the same issue?
I just took it out on the highway, and I don’t have vibration issues at those RPMs. I went in all gears from 5 to 7k, and I have normal vibrations. Maybe a bit more than stick, but nothing that would lead me to say “what the eff?” Maybe check the bolts, especially the one on the right side (brake side), that one was tricky to put in properly with that spacer and tighten down.
That’s the Sargent seat. Definitely more supportive. The seat shims did help somewhat in my butt being more upright and thus distribute the pinch points better, but when you’re talking a multiple day trip with at least 6 hours everyday, it’s not quite enough. But it may be enough for a day trip. This seat is definitely different and more supportive. But I need to put long hours to make an assessment.
Hey bro! Is that a mad stad windscreen? If it is, do you mind me asking how tall you are , the windscreen height and how you like the windscreen?

@TheSunderlands1 in thinking of just getting a air hawk for now. Just in case kinda thing while I'm out. Ima just keep it in the bags.

can you please tell me the name of your gloves? They look super nice
They’re Alpinestars SMX-1 air gloves. They’re nice for summer weather, definitely more of a tighter “European” fit but they do break in.
Hello, does this have a catalytic converter?
Do you smell like exhaust fumes once you’re done riding?
I am considering this system.

@@caputo116 note that if you are considering an exhaust, I highly recommend a tune. It really wakes up the bike at low/midrange speeds.

What was the price of the seat? And where did you get the ecu tune
The seat is a Sargent seat, $500. The flash is vcyclenut. I will update the description for links.
Looks like the seat shims didn't work and you just changed seats. What seats are those?

Where are you from. That area looks so familiar! It's killing me! lol
This is South of Pittsburgh near Washington PA.
