Water painting is 100000% more complex than oil painting,I mean you can't do many mistake you have to be very precise and focused while you paint something,once you loose your concentration it means you loose your painting. In oil painting you can omit your mistake and do it again and again but in water colours you have to have the real sense of accuracy.i maybe wrong here,but this is what I anticipated.
