Hunting for the Sun

After two months without sun, it is magic to see her again. Normally this happens mid-January, and I take my dogs with me and greets her. I’ve done this since 2010, and it is now a tradition that marks the beginning of my winter skiing/hiking/sled season.
This year I wanted to do the same, but it didn’t turn out the way I wanted. However, I did get some nice trips with my four huskies and the pulka/sled.
The sun is not present for about two months since I live inside the Arctic Circle, 69-degree North. When the sun returns, it only shines for a few minutes, but every week, the time it's up, increases with about an hour.
And soon (May), we have midnight sun!

For two months the sun is literally gone, so seeing it again for the first time is hard to describe! But it is grate. This video is an attempt to do that. Hope you enjoy it!
