To answer your question, when SCUBA diving, when you go deeper, nitrogen in your body compresses, which isn’t a problem, so you can go deeper just fine. It’s only a problem when you ascend and the nitrogen starts inflating like a balloon.
Specifically, nitrogen solubility in blood and body fluids generally increases with pressure; so you get higher levels of dissolved nitrogen; but your fluids remain nice and fluid(there is the risk of nitrogen narcosis; but that's a separate issue, gas solubility in lipids also increases, which does weird stuff to your nervous system) At lower pressure gas solubility decreases and nitrogen starts bubbling out of your blood; and the body does not deal well with gas bubbles emerging in your circulatory system and tissues. The acute "just kills you in agony" flavor is probably the most dramatic; but even if you avoid that there are some ugly possibilities. I think my least favorite is "Dysbaric Osteonecrosis"(killer name for a doom metal band, though); which is the tendency of the bones, particularly the bigger joints, to die in saturation divers with long term vocational exposure to those effects.
@@TerraWolf_Teratio LapisFluff’s pronouns are she/her. She is in fact a sis, not a bro. Unless I’ve commented on the wrong video, which would make me look a bit silly, but I don’t *think* I have.

I've been grinding out Hardcore runs, trying to stabilize with a good starter base, but I keep overreaching as soon as I think I've stabilized. There's guaranteed crashfish and a coffiemaker near the Aurora's engine, and a trip to the floating isle (either directly, or through the alien teleporter depending on spawn) can grab a marblemelon seed and a growpot blueprint. Battery chargers can be found in red plains wrecks, but only work with Lithium/diamond/salt batteries
Hey, as a scuba diver, not going to the surface right away makes sense. You can get a condition called “the bends”, in which the gas in your bloodstream expands as you ascend. If you do this to quickly, it can fizz like soda pop and you can get bubbles in your bloodstream. Which can easily kill you.
Well done so far. Have no clue about anything with subnautica, but you made this entertaining to watch regardless. Wishing you the best on this pipe filled journey👍
Instead of making batteries just use the battery from the scanner to use the habitat builder and use it with other not oftenly used tools like laser cutter as well
This seems like it could be good but I can't tell if it's got enough work put in to balance it with just this. I'm interested to see how the vehicles play, but building habitats is probably going to be utterly painful - might be better to just work towards a cyclops from the beginning and slap some power cell chargers on a thermal plant for it. Do you reckon databoxes will require multiple chips to get the blueprint? It seems like something they'd do.
I don't know the answers to your questions, but I do know that there are multiple settings to the deathrun remade mod, unlike it's original version. Lapisfluff is playing on full difficulty, "deathrun" settings, but I'm playing the game currently on mostly "hard" settings, which I believe is a nice balance. It's harder than the original but not so difficult as to be impossible, though I am playing on survival mode because I'm being a wuss my first time through, lol. I'm really enjoying the added challenge.
Heyyy, I'm playin this mod right now! I'm workin on a mod pack to hopefully increase the realism of the game and such, but still be fun with options to make it hard or easy with this mod specifically ^w^ Maybe you'd wanna try it when it's done? :O
Every vehicle in the game, while this mod is on, has a higher requirement of lubricant, although the vehicle actually takes the vanilla amount, the rest is for your ass to prepare it for the absolute buttfuck you'll receive from the new crafting recipes and the leviathans.
How is a voice anything relating to gender??? I just imagine someone walking up to a random person and assigning labels to random voices if they think the person is trans/gnc/gay, if the person isn't "gender neutral", then their voice isn't either, chill.
@Tree-House69 I never said that they're trans/gay. Their voice is gender-neutral because either gender can have it. I'm confused about how you came to this conclusion, and what you meant by gnc
