More intrigued by this fight now to see if it was an actual elbow that started the downfall in the first fight for Chris. I know he was cornered and taking shots before that but you can argue he clearly got caught with a left hook and then the elbow did skim him/touch him and every boxer is different I suppose when it happens he has been against bigger blokes and took weightier punches. I know he was wet cut for this fight but I dunno it just seems odd as he is a warrior and likes to scrap. Im hoping for an all out centre ring war. It will be timing once again for beefy and hopefully eubank will rehydrate proper and add a bit more weight to his frame come fight night for a more exciting fight. There’s a lot of people who would like to see Jnr get beaten including me but I like to watch a clean fight! as a fan of the sport that forearm/elbow affected the fight. I watched the replay several times and even through I tried I can’t make a case in smiths defence, it looks intentional.
Jnr mentioned it in the interview and the look/smirk on smiths face said it all.
Their running it back so let’s hope for a clean fight this time round hey.

In 40 odd years of boxing I don't think I've ever seen a more delusional fighter than Eubank Jr. Still believes he's world class when he's been beat by BJS, Groves and Liam Smith. His best win came against James Degale who was a shot fighter by that point.
i always hear this "De Gale was a shot fighter" its mad to me, he had just turned 30, sorry but if your "shot" at 30 without having a long tough career full of wars you was never world level in the first place. De Gale is the only fighter i know of thats never taken drugs or abused alcohol that people say was shot by the age of 30 🤣🤣🤣

De Gale was coming off a win against Truax and a KO against Munoz when he fought Eubank, Eubank was coming off a Loss against Groves and a RTD against McDonagh who had an injury mid fight... yet people say De Gale was the one that was shot to bits 🤣

He won the IBO title and defended it twice against Abraham and Yildrim and then lost it to Groves, De Gale won the IBF title and defended it twice against Bute and Medina and then lost it to Truax....theyve had very similar careers, both lost at world level and if anything Eubanks got the better resume of names on his record. Atleats Eubank beat British level fighters like Osullivan and Blackwell, De Gale didnt even do that

More intrigued by this fight now to see if it was an actual elbow that started the downfall in the first fight for Chris. I know he was cornered and taking shots before that but you can argue he clearly got caught with a left hook and then the elbow did skim him/touch him and every boxer is different I suppose when it happens he has been against bigger blokes and took weightier punches. I know he was wet cut for this fight but I dunno it just seems odd as he is a warrior and likes to scrap.
Im hoping for an all out centre ring war. It will be timing once again for beefy and hopefully eubank will rehydrate proper and add a bit more weight to his frame come fight night for a more exciting fight. I'm gonna go for a eubank stoppage as thats what he has to do as beefy is levels above him as a boxer.
