Dear Tasos. Many thanks for your kind comment and season greetings. Unfortunately Maldives customs wanted 17 % customs duty of both my drone and the remote controller which would each be well over the USD390 allowed in to the country, So I did not take my drone with me and could only film with my Sony camera and the gimbal equipment. And when I leave the country with me gear I would not get any money back.
@@thelning Dear Tony, that’s really unfortunate about the customs duty! It must have been frustrating not being able to use your drone, especially in such a stunning location like the Maldives. That said, your Sony camera and gimbal work did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the place! Wishing you many more travels and opportunities to create stunning content without such obstacles in the future!
