Nice presentation! Perhaps one of the best reconciliations I have found between strict monotheism such as found in Islamic tawhid and the Christian triune is found in the pages of the kitab-i-Iqan (Book of Certitude) in it's discussion of the relations between the sun, it's rays and a mirror.

Every time i watch this one I'm more inspired, than you for posting this and the many others, it must take a lot of work. Starting to see religion as and the different realms, heavens and experience as more of an adventure and feeling, and no trying to analyze or over think, kinda of like in my youth, (not suggesting youth do this ) but i hitchhiked a lot, and sometimes would end up with new friends and just going for the ride and the adventure, where i ended up wasn't important or rather where i thought or the direction i thought i had to go wasn't,...i now feel in some respects dogma and ritual endless sermons, or the goal of reward or fear of hell have blinded me and many others,.. and instead i need to just jump on the magic bus go with the flow and see where it takes me, ...i know the average red faced screaming Baptist evangelical preacher won't get that, lol, they're all wound a little tight , i think they're in a lower realm that hasn't been revealed yet.. lol.

You need to read the Gospels first. Jesus is the way the truth and the life no man comes unto the father but by me. There is no need for false prophets such as bahai mohamad buddha and the rest of the ''RELIGIONS" . You need the truth you need to follow Jesus he is your saviour. baha'i is dead in his grave like any other sinner Jesus is alive seated at the right hand of the Father and all power and authority was given unto him. The devil came not but to rob kill and destroy but Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly all religions are made up by satan to trick people and keep them away from the knowledge and truth of the glorious Gospel of JESUS THE CHRIST. All praise and glory goes to him not any dead men. If he died and did not raise from the dead he was just a sinner like the rest of us.But it is to late for him like mohamad to repent and get saved. And when people say they pray to baha'i and he answers them it is only satan to keep you where he wants you. If i was you i would research it first by reading the Gospels and ask Jesus to reveal it to you so you can have everlasting life. God bless you. P.S. Stay away from baha'u'llah.

Fantastic video, I'm doing a comparative study of the metaphysical realms at the moment myself. Baha'i draws on esoteric Shi'ite and Sufi ontology there, which itself serves as the perfect ultimate metaphysical model that can basically overlap all other religion cosmologies/metaphysical models.
It's very brilliant, Baha'i has the essence perfected IMHO

Very informative and well done,... I'm still having trouble with the differences in verses of Quran compared to bible and BAHA'I teaching, I believe Baha u llah, but i think it is even harder for a Muslim to get past the direct contrast of the Quran to the bible regarding jesus, then maybe even a Christians aversion to Allah , or the Bab or saying BAHA U LLAH, instead of GLORY of GOD,... it's like a nagging thought to me , BUT THE QURAN SAYS THIS.. verses etc... it was hard going from Christian to Muslim at times for the same reason, but then there understanding in Islam is WELL the bible was corrupted,.. so you can then go oh now i see three Quran is the true teaching,.. and it's taught in Islam because the bible was corrupted that GOD promised the Quran could never be corrupted, SO having a Muslim come to agreement with anyone who says GOD has a son, or children is just about impossible, or that jesus was GOD or TRINITY, the Quran plainly states ALLAH is king also, so to again express jesus as king of kings lord of lords, or BAHA U LLAH as king of kings, kind of easier for me, but for muslims that have always been Muslim especially, salafi, wahabi strict Sunni is going to be a very difficult thing, and since they already worship ALLAH, is it necessary for them to come to the new teachings, if not won't there always be a conflict like has been between Christian and Muslim and other religions ? Just some of the things i wrestle with even tho I believe the BAB AND BAHA U LLAH.

When you speak about Malakut jabarut lahut hahut and etc etc etc, they should be talked in relation to living word or Sound, a particular plane will have sounds...
The highest set of truths are also reflected on other planes of minds and bodies. So we must catch the highest truth not running after reflections or shadows...
The Highest truth is always spoken in relation to living words or SOUNDS.. Example
    Sound of bells
    Sound of counch
    Sound of drum beat
    Sound of thunder
    Sound of flute
    Sound of violin
    And etc
Usually the last one is the unstruct melody ANHAAD SHABD..
By following this Names we break away from cycle of birth n repeated deaths

From a Bahai's understanding the devil that gets confused with Satan would be the Archangel Sammael the spirit of the world. That spirit is doing it's job which is to draw you into physicality and abasement. The Satan of the book of Job is the antediluvian king from first Enoch who consumed all the world's labor and was recorded on the Sumerian King's list as Ubaratutu and remembered as Utu/Chemosh.

If it's ok, i'd like to ask you a question.
Many religions during the time they are created reflect the morals of their time.
Just like the other religions, the morals in the Bahai faith reflect their own time.
Now in the modern day when you look at the great loss of life and human suffering from the result of catholics, whom while holding the belief that contraception and abortion is evil, and using their financial and political power to make that belief spread far and wide, the people converted naturally put those words into practice as any good believer would.
And the result of that? In many third world countries you see millions of men, woman, and children(born with these diseases), all dying from stds.
How is contraception a moral evil? Because god said it was? Was that untold suffering, which could have all been prevented, and the continued suffering of the poorest and weakest among us all justified because of that? Should they keep spreading that belief knowing what it will do to those in crippling poverty?
Diseases aside, when you take away the ability for a woman to control her menstrual cycle(the animal cycle) then when they have kids (that they have no financial ability to raise) the sad result is these babies die, and the short life they live is worse than death.
Raising a human life is no simple matter, and when you are so poor that you can barely feed yourself, it takes everything for them just to stop their children from starving, let alone build a better life.
I didn't want to connect the dots, and blame it on the catholics own foolishness, but when I realized we as Bahai's believe this teaching too, that abortion and contraception are a moral evil, and watching it still lead to untold suffering, it eventually led to the death of my belief.
I'm not trying to convince you to do the same, I'm only interested in learning that, if you, unlike me, already knew about this teaching, and if so how you rationalize it to keep believing the bahai faith as a whole.

In the face of God the one who suffers a lot have a great place, because this all bad things are tests. which can help people understand God more, but the real test is for the people who live in richness, they have the will to do good things or bad things. to do good things in the world we should take actions, all have to do good things in the world, not wait for others

@@izzatengida9455 So when animals suffer, is it also a test to help them understand God more?

    • @niencat
      @niencat 3 роки тому

@@c.a.t.732 animals and treating them fairly and with care is an imporyant bahai teachings. As they are part of the creation of God. Mammals, water creatures, insects, spiders, birds have all a different eay of awareness. The bahai teachings are not agsinst hunting animals for food or eating them or kill them when you need their meat and hide to keep yourself warm. Bit it is important to not hunt just for pleasure, for killing them willy nilly. They should ve treated with care, kindness and justice. Abdul baha, who was the appointed leader of the bahai faithnand the exemplar of all the bahai virtues to the fullest degree a human veing can exemplify these, says that because animals cannot hire a solicitor or legal representative to plead at a court on their behalf, human brings should treat them with justice and fairness and kindness. And Abdu'l Baha also said in one of his talks that in the future people will eat less and less meat. The way animals are farmed now, seen as products rather than a fellow creation of God, would as far as I understand really appal Baha ullah and Abdul Baha. Suffering of humans, animals and plants cannpt be avoided. Human beings can become stronger through suffering but only when they believe in light versus darkness, and hope instead of despair. Animals give no signs of being able to reflect on themsrlves, the universe, or humans and society. Animals are by default good and pure hearted, because they cannot get away from their instincts, they are driven by them. A human being, even when very hungry or thirsty, can choose not to eat, to follow their instincts or to say no to their instincts. A human being can reflect on their behaviour, and decide on what morale, what code of ethics to choose. Animals cant, or only to a very limited degree. Human beings enjoy more freedom of will and choice in personal behaviour than animals do. That is why suffering can ennoble a human being, make a human being kinder, wiser, and inwardly stronger, if the person who suffers realise this while goimg through ordeals. But an animal that suffers does not gain anything from it. Because it is already pure and os a captive of its instincys. Human beings should avoid as much as possible to cause the suffering of an animal or another human being. However, when an animal has become a danger to the physical wellbeing of a human being, or a human being has become a danger to the physical and mental well- being of another human, or more than one other human being, people are allowed to act in self defense, in the bahai faith.

I was raised catholic, before i became a bahai. I am the youngest of 10 children, we all have the same biological father and mother. we all arebstill alive, except for the third rldrst who died aged 69.My mother made a promise to God when her 4th chold caught whooping coigh when it was only an infant. This happend aafter 1947, mostprobably it was in 1948, as the bsbymwas not yet a year old. Whooping cough could be deadly then, there was no cure or any way to prevent it. So my mothernpromised not to do anything to prevent any further pregnancies. So her life became more andbmore difficult. She could handle it but it has had its price, on her and on us. I have never read anywhere in the bahai writings or the guidance by the Guardian, or in the writings of the Universal HousebofnJustice, that preventing a conceivement and a pregnancy when one has already conceived and given birth once before is frowned upon. Abortion as a contraceptive is not allowed unless the pregnancy is threatenimg the life of the woman who is pregnant.
I have done quite a bit of research on this, however, this was more than 20 years ago, so if you know of any wriiten guidance on this in the bahai writings, let me know. The primary purpose of sex in the bahai writings is to conceive children, just like it is also the prumary purpose of nature. The purpose of marriage is to make it into a fortress of well being for the couple, the children they bring into the world, or their fostered or adopted children if the couple wants to look after those kind of childern. Nowhere in the bahai writings does it say to practice abstinence of sex, or how often one should have sex, or how many or how few childten a couple should strive for. It is totally left to the couple, to make these decisions. If after 1,2,3, 5, or any number of years of marriage there is still no sign of pregnancy, nobody is allowrd to lecture them or demand that the couple tells them why there are no children yet. This is a matter that is for the couple to decide on. However, and this is a personal matter, a bahai is not allowed to get married at childbearing years and to decide not to have any children ever in the marriage. Exception is of course there is a sound medical reason for that decision.

As to the poverty and hardships of a woman who gets pregnant and has no husband, and no finanvisl resources, teadbsbout the institution and concept of Bahai Houses of worship. The Institution of the Bahai House of worship os not just a gathering place for devotiond and worship and the exultation of the revealed Words of God as given throughout the ages through the holy scripture of every world religion, but it has also a number of buildings that house comminity care givingg facilities Like a hospital, kindergarten, primary and secondar schools, a place for people who need a lot of care, longtime or permanent care, because of physical and/or mental disabilities, a university, a place for elderly people, a hosttel for the homeless or those that are ttavelling, a community centre so that people can come together for other purposes than devotional , an orphanage, and any other community care giving facility one could think of. By community is meant here not only the bahais in that area but also the not registered bahais, the atheists, all followers of any religion in the world, in short, everybody, no matter skin colour, ethnicity, cultural background.

A big reason I see that proves why folks join the Bahá í faith is that you never discuss sin & judgment for sin. We are all sinners no matter what good deeds you do. Hereticks usually only want God's love & mercy but no wrath & judgment for sin. That's unblanced. Jesus REBUKED sin & spoke about hell more than any other topic in the new testament. I challenge any Baháí to prove me wrong using the holy Bible. I'm no rookie. I'm a Baptist apologist. I'll be waiting.

Why don't Jews ever talk about the Trinity? The Old Testament is their whole thing. Theirs is the culture which created it.

Please don't use Cosmology when talking about mysticism and the supernatural. Cosmology is the science of the origin and development of the universe. Key word being science. Religion cannot be tested scientifically. I am a former Baha'i (served on multiple LSAs) and astronomy professor, and merging these two is an embarrassment to both.

Friend, when religions use the word “cosmology” it’s not an attempt to scientifies religion, nor is it an attempt to harmonize “science and religion”. Theologians have used the word cosmology with a different definition than when the scientific community uses that same word. It’s not an attempt to hijack a scientific meaning whatsoever. Scientific Cosmology is defined as the study and origin of the physical universe. I’m religious studies, “cosmology” is to do with the study of the spiritual realms of existence, spiritual realities, and its origin. It may be supernatural nonsense to you, but it’s not nonsense because they use that word “cosmology”. The word comes from the Greek when the scientific method nor physicalism was standardized. In Greek it simply means order of the world (not specifying physical-world or spiritual-world(s). In short, religious cosmology is an independent field of study from natural science and astronomy.

It's like the term "idealism" in ontology it's regularly a rejection of matter: all we have are ideas, sense impressions - contrasted with physicalism or materialism.
This is a denial of the material reality.
Yet "idealism" in political philosophy is seeking the ideal "state" which is contrasted with "realism" which refers to how politics works in all its dirty reality, a reality incapable of upholding ideal states.
Realism then, contrasts with idealism in politics.
"Realism" in politics doesn't mean the same thing in ontology. There realism refers to actual true reality of (say) mathematical objects, or propositions.
Simply a Metter of confusing the use of the term, which as was stated above, has been used metaphorically to refer to the spiritual structure of reality.
Interestingly, cosmology was co-opted bt astronomy, as it originally referred to the whole cosmos = order of reality, a branch of metaphysics
