Bought the classic dark line. Now I’m grabbing one or two of these bad boys. These videos were big selling points to me. The finish on these are amazing.

Wowww... these sound phenomenal. Might be one of my favorite lines from Meinl.
Would like to add that the edges of the cymbals do look slightly crude though, like they have not been properly sanded/smoothened down from the videos I've seen.
I’m just gonna turn this into an MP3 cuz this performance and song was sick. Really contemplating that 20” crash. Was undecided between the pure alloy custom and the Byzance Dark crash but this helped me finally decide.

I was hoping these would compete with the Paiste Signature Dark line, given the Pure Alloy was modeled after Paiste's Sound Formula line of decades past. But, no.....at least as far as this video goes. That said, they do sound really nice.

I'm shocked by this sound, the best I've heard in 15 years. and how far the Mainl has fallen off the competition. Zildjan is just 10 years behind.
