Realistically, the black widow movie has the potential to become THE BEST in mcu history. Her story is so tragic and it would make for a hell of a psychological thriller, with so much depth and strength. It would be something completely different from anything mcu has ever done before, but it wouldn’t be their first time experimenting with the movies and her story can support this. That way the fans will have their service and the respect paid to the character of Natasha which we all want, but also the movie could stand on its own and be brilliant outside of the mcu realm. Gosh I hope they do it justice, Natasha surely deserved it
Fans have been asking for this movie for YEARS and it’s because we love her as a character so much! I can’t wait to see how they write her character in almost certainly, her last outing before we say our final goodbyes to the character
Dennis Slungard It’s literally been confirmed for years that they’re making a movie. It takes ages to plan these things out; right now they have a director hired and a script. Scarlett is confirmed to play the lead part and that’s all they’ve told us. It’s supposed to start filming later this year or early next year.
Reasons why Natasha Romanoff deserved a better ending. Natasha Romanoff was one of the, if not, the best character of the MCU. The way marvel ended her character arc was dishonorable. Nat was there since Iron Man 2. She helped Tony through everything. Then she moved on to Steve, and helped Steve with everything. Then Clint. Then Bruce. She doesn’t have a single bad bone in her body. It was obvious she loved Clint, but she accepted the fact that he was married and had kids. Natasha gave everything for the people she loved. She was everything. She IS everything. That fighting scene with her and Happy in Iron Man 2? Definition of badass. She sacrificed everything. She didn’t have a family. No kids. No love. In those 11 years, Marvel did her REAL dirty. Without her, they would have never defeated Thanos. And that powerful woman scene during the Battle of Earth in Endgame? Incomplete without my Natasha. When she was all alone during those 5 years when the Avengers had broken up, she was miserable. And when they got back together to save the world, you could see the joy on her face, smiling next to Clint. She was so excited to do what she loved doing. Saving the world, at whatever cost. She deserved everything, yet she never got it. Her death was heroic, yet it was also a tragedy. And that is why Natasha Romanoff will always be a fucking legacy.
@@andreagoh2732Completly agree with you, that was not a romantic love, that was a brotherly love, it is very obviosly! Everything anya.laughter said was right except for that. People just have the ridiculous need to put a man next to all that girl power for some stupid reason!
She's the most powerful female avengers imo. She didn't have any super powers or any kind of special abilities but yet she fight like there's no tomorrow. Her sacrifice will always be remembered. Thank you, Natasha Romanoff.
You know...when I watched my first marvel movie (which was btw CW) i saw this woman fighting all those trained soldiers alone and i was just impressed and i didn't know her name, but now this name...this hero means so much to me. Every one should remember her.
Omg, same. I saw CW too which was also my first marvel movie ( even though I saw adds for age of ultron but didn't go to see it). Now, this woman inspires me to be myself and to not hide
this concept is called ‘fridging’, when a female character has something horrible happen to her to further a male characters ark. for nat, it was so clint could get redemption, or was also so tony could get all the credit for saving the world and the rest of her male counterparts could cry. marvel has always treated her as lesser than the other avengers, the actors too. a few years ago, jeremy renner and chris evans called black widow a whore during an interview. when renner ‘apologized’, he followed with something like,” when you bang four out of six avengers, you are a whore”. this is a direct comment to how she has often been written as nothing more than a love interest to her male teammates. when asked about her lack of a funeral, the Russo brothers chalked it up to her not being a social person. they and the writers decided that that was the end of her story, the character had gone as far as they could take it, calling her a hard character to write. but there shouldn’t be a hard character to write when you’ve been writing her for almost ten years, unless you’ve never actually taken the time to figure out that character. as much as i would like to say Nat had character growth, she really didn’t. she was willing to die in the Avengers, and she was willing to die here, and she had said that clint had a family to get back to, and that’s why his life was worth more than hers. she had said in Age of Ultron that the Red Room had sterilized her, which is more than hinting that since she could never have a biological family, her life somehow meant less. they’ve never treated her to the standard that she should have been, but at least with ScarJo as one of the main producers of the Black Widow prequel, she might get the same love and attention from the writers as her male piers.
@@bellasaunders3978 The Russo Brothers do take their time to get to know each character. Why do you think she wants to do what she has to? Why she died instead of Hawkeye? Her character is explained by only one quote from her. "I got red on my ledger and I want to wipe it out". What the quote meant was she wants to redeem herself for the actions she took before Clint recruited her. That is also the reason why she is written as the lesser because she herself thinks less of herself.
@@bellasaunders3978 Also I don't know much about the part about the actors thinking less of her. That part about Jeremy was only one thing so I don't know about that but she seems to be treated equal on set and during interviews by the actors. Also the fact about Nat not getting a funeral is a small thing since, 1. They were already mourning Tony. 2. Even Vision, Loki, Heimdall, Ancient One, and Quicksilver and Agent Coulson (yes I know he's still alive but he is still dead to many people in the MCU) wasn't shown to have a funeral on screen because if a funeral is shown, those scenes are meant to showcase change just like when Fury's funeral was shown and Tony's funeral was also shown. Kinda agree about the character growth and women dying part since Peggy's death affected her but Black Widow gets some character growth during that scene as well.
When you still can't get over The Avengers Endgame😭😭 Iron man:Gone Black Widow:Gone Capt. A.: Can die anytime Hawkeye:Retired Hulk:One arm left Thor:With the guardians Original Avengers: 0\6
What really hurts is the fact that when she confessed to being happy about having a family, Cap said that he thought it was time that they both get a life. She told him to get one first. And he did. Because she died before she could do that.
Albert Acevedo The first time I watched the movie I CRIED when she died and before I went the second time I watched her death scene on UA-cam at least 30 times so I didn’t cry in the theatre when she died again. When we saw the movie a second time I was on the verge of tears during her death scene but managed to hold it together, but when Clint said that I totally lost it! Nat you were my favourite Avenger you’ll be in our hearts forever ❤️♾! We love you 3000❤️❤️❤️
the one thing that annoys me is how she didn't get a big of a funeral or ending as tony :'( edit: some people are getting so annoyed at this all I'm saying is after she died we got about 2 minutes of them grieving her and then bang! they forgot about it, she deserved better and that's the truth
Like, five people would attend. I think people put way too much stock in ceremony. What matters most is the impact. Iron Man impacted more people personally, so he'd have more people outside the Avengers recognize his death. Even the Iron Man 3 kid attended.
The directors said that they didn’t think it would be true to her character to give her a huge funeral or something like that, and Tony was a public figure so obviously he’d have to have a big one
Natasha and Vision were part of Avengers too, esp Nat who also were there from the beginning, and that was the only thing that bothered me in that movie... Tony got a big funeral and Nat and Vision got like two people remembering them on the side when they deserved so much more than that
Agreed not nearly fair. Not quite as unfair as how much larger RDJ's checks were vs everyone else..but unfair. Tho the moment Cap teared up that they used in the trailer...that was from the scene where clint was telling rest of the team that Nat wasn't coming back, to me that was a more fitting tribute than the bench toss.
Black Widow had evolved. Before The Avengers, she was a killing machine that had no emotions, sympathy, nothing that made her human. All of that was taken away from her. She tried to get it all back and worked on becoming more human when she was on the team. The old Natasha would never sacrifice herself for Hawkeye, but now she has this connection with him and cares for him which would cause her emotional pain (something that would not effect her if it was old her). The old Black widow would willingly push him over that cliff without feeling remorse. She has evolved from what she has said a “monster” to a human who cares deeply for others. THIS IS ALL Hypothetical!!
She and Clint cared about each other before the Avengers formed. They've been together the longest, plus she's family to the Bartons. Though I do agree with how she's evolved into someone who came to care about the others, and her growth as a person and hero. She long ago wiped out the red on her ledger.
@Griffin Chalem I'm just saying if it was the old her. If black widow was the same she would not love anyone or care for anyone, but yeah you are right.
@@xxdreamdustxx1721 But before the avengers and meeting Clint that what I meant. Meeting the team and Clint changed In the best way possible. In one of the movies she even said that the team was her family.
@@estrellitatorres3081 Yes I know that just mentioning that even if she hadn't met the Avengers, Clint would have still been her family, and I'm pretty sure she would have done the same thing. That's not to say that the Avengers didn't change her because they did, or more importantly she changed for them.
I was thinking about that she is the backbone of the Avengers. Se never showed her emotion bc she didn't want to affect anyone, she never blamed anyone cause she knew what it was like to be blamed for everything. She used to be a killing machine and now we see her smile and cry and sacrifice HERSELF. That's character development she was a stone before and now she cares about everyone on the team. She was finally starting to find herself again. I feel like they could ave goon so far with her if Hawkeye died. Like she could have totally been Peter's new parent in the Avengers family. *She is my favorite*
Tony snapped his fingers and destroy Thanos thanks to NATASHA. Avengers were the only family she had and they should’ve make a funeral for her alongside Tony. Love you more than 3000
The embodiment of “whatever it takes.” She has gotten rid of the red in her ledger. She gave her life for the family that made her a better person, a person with compassion and dignity. She is so underrated even with having one of the bigger character developments in the MCU. It has been amazing to see her character transform into someone that didn’t seem possible for her in the past. She died a hero, an Avenger. RIP Black Widow ❤️
That bit from The Winter Soldier when Cap says He trusts her *now* really got me. The kind of faith and trust they had between them was one of the purest friendships I'd ever seen. And even in Endgame, Steve says that they, *The* *Avengers* were her family was so downright emotional....
“She’s just a character” you tell that to the little girl who grew up wanting to be Natasha, to be brave, to be fearless, to be a warrior, to be unapologetically fierce, to be strong.. that little girl grew up confident & strong as ever thinking anything was possible all because of Nat 😪 thank you for showing us everything that is female power we will never forget, you’ll always be our leading lady 😢 #RIPNATASHAROMANOFF 🖤💔 ps 3:11 made my heart stop 😔
The way I see it, Nat paved the way for Stark to beat Thanos. Stark wouldn't have fulfilled his legacy if it weren't for Nat. Thank You Natalia Alianova Romanoff.❤️
@@zeatna nt sure. but there are many theories for why i genuinely felt so... first, thanos was never wrong in his idealogy, except that the means he chose might b wrong. second, its coz of his immense braun nd brains , our avengers got so much hype in order to match his power, so thanos is also a reason our avengers got so much love and respect. third, he was an internal part of marvel films since very long even though appeared only in a few of them, it really made me sad to see him vanish like dat. so thanos played an equally important character in mcu as ironman, so why shudnt one feel sad for the negative character às much as they feel for positive ones... there are a whole lot of perspectives u see if u choose to view...
She said that it was ok. But it's not. It never will be as long as she's gone and not here walking with us. Despite just being a character, she stole our hearts. And then she died with them.
I'm Russian girl. The Black Widow1 is my favorite character... I grew up with Natasha, she raised me. For so many years I looked at her, hoping to be a little like her. I finish my studies and in the future I want to connect my life with the protection of the rights and lives of citizens. My Mom's name is Natasha too. Thanks for everything, Black Widow... Thank you, author, for being so sensual life has shown this character. I wish you all peace and a bright future!!!, 🕊️💝
They had many opportunities to honor her, they could have thrown a bouquet to the lake in the funeral, in the all girls scene Wanda could have said “she’s not alone”, letting know Captain Marvel she had her back just like Black Widow did in infinity to war to her when fitghting Proxima, Captain America could have said he got the life Nat couldn’t get so he did it for both, but they just did nothing, they didn’t care, Tony wouldn’t even have had the chance to use the stones if she hadn’t sacrificed herself. The “she thought of herself as lesser so she didn’t got a big funeral” excuse is bullshit, most people at Tony’s funeral knew her and appreciated her, she gave her life in order to save billions, I would’ve built her a massive statue and tell everyone what she did, yet they couldn’t even throw a flower to the lake.
I think in the all women scene in endgame that was a tribute to Natasha and a call back scene to the all women scene in infinity war cuz if you think about it " Don't worry , she's got help " is kinda similar to " she's not alone " , plus Natasha should have been leading all the women because she was the one who started Girl Power
But the reason they didn't give her funeral is cuz of lots of funerals 1. She has another movie she's appearing in which is her solo movie FINALLY 2. Apparently by WE GOT THIS COVERED she will return in phase 5 or 6 3. Don't attack me for saying this but you can't have a funeral without the dead body , but otherwise she was the best , Amazing badass avenger
Oisin Reilly in the french translation, the « don’t worry, she’s got help » was « elle n’est pas seule », which means « she’s not alone » in english, so that was kind of a real tribute but i trully don’t get why Natasha didn’t had any funeral
Im glad people still has a soft spot for Black Widow in their heart... Honestly its not often seeing people who care for her. Usually people would write how they miss Tony the god father of all of this, but give Romanoff some respect, she sacrificed her life for the whole world knowing there was no going back just for a piece of rock that is capable to change someone's soul... TYPE F IN THE COMMENTS TO PAY RESPECTS TO HER AND IRON MAN Black widow and Iron man's legacy will continue. They shall always remain in our heart and they will always be remembered... I love you both 3000
Aniek Wigman her backstory is the most depressing thing ever. but I cannot wait to watch it. I used to read the comics all the time when I was little and ugh she’s so strong it’s crazy.
@@lilromanoffig *spoiler warning* this made me even more excited. It's a pity they didn't release this movie earlier as people would've been more understanding towards her with her jumping to clear her name and pay her debt to Barton. Also it would've been way more shocking. To me it already was a big shock since she's my favourite avenger. I've always felt she was the strongest if it comes to emotional endurance
Thank you, Natasha, for being a pillar for not only your on screen mates, your personal friendships with fellow actors of marvel, and for us fans. We will continue to look up to truly one of the strongest female characters to ever come on screen. Thank you, truly, for being you. A Hero.
I love her so much. It literally feels like losing a member of the family. She got me through so much. She taught me so much. She was my childhood. She made me who I am today. Apart of me died when she did. I cried today for Nat, and endgame came out a year ago. I'll never stop missing her.
Everyone weeps for Iron Man but nobody for the girl whom I had looked up to as my childhood hero and Role Model........ R.I.P Black Widow a.k.a Natasha Romanoff.
Some move on to iron man but not us Natasha forever When Nat didn’t get a funeral I thought people hate her or more like people didn’t even care she was there and I don’t like it I mean she is just as strong as tony in fact even stronger when he is without his suit she is strong mentally and physically Why does no one get that she is the person who kept the avengers together I love her more than 3000 🖤
@@_shristi__ Ikr....... I will always remember her as one of the strongest women I have ever known. Shame that she didn't get the proper adieu which she deserved.
You know, I wanna know why they made an Cap. Marvel movie for Endgame, even though she is not important at all but the Black Widow movie is coming out after the Endgame and [SPOILER] her death It’s just a theory, but what if they did this on purpose...
I cried for her, much more than for Iron Man... we all see her growth in these movies. At first, she won't reveal her own feelings to the others and now she will. Her sacrifice is totally heartbreaking... she is my favorite character in the entire MCU...😭😭 I really wonder if there is a way to save her back... Like wanda had an induction with the infinity stones. She said Natasha knew they won in the endgame. And Wanda maybe able to save Vision back though he died in infinity war, saving Natasha maybe possible too. If Scarlett Johansson did extend her contract with Marvel, I hope she will survive in the other space time, and continue her legend...😢 I really don't want her solo movie to be her last movie in the MCU...😭😭

'Your not going to put any of us in a prison, you know why? Because you need us.' The avengers won't be the avengers without her. Love you 3000 Natasha
Natasha is a fighter who doesn't look back, she doesn't care on what happened in her past. The hardwork she has done even knowing she wasn't loved as a child means so much, it means she does errything she can to do her job. She is a reliable person, someone who helps the Avengers save the world. With no high-tech gears or equipment other than her guns, agility and strategy. Now leads to an end. Everyone needs to sacrifice for something they love right? And she sacrificed for her one and only family, the Avengers.
Black widow aka Natasha Romonoff my favorite mcu character. She was such an amazing character and I love her for who she is and the sacrifice that she made in endgame. Because she saved the world and if it wasn’t for her everyone would be dead. Even though Natasha is dead in the mcu but in my heart she is still here. Love you Natasha ❤️
I live you black widow, I was there since the first avengers heck even iron man 2, people say you are nothing and have no superpower but look what you Did, may you rest in peace, love you 3000.
Because of the snap, she never got to celebrate her last birthday by doing "whatever she wanted to do, with whoever she wanted to do it with". She wanted to spend it with her family. So sad 😭❤
Natasha and Stark are dead. Cap will die not long from now. Hawkeye retired. Banner won't fight. Thor... *chuckles*. There is only one last hope... *spiderman theme plays*...
*Black Widow* shows us that people can be forgiven *Ironman* shows us that a playboy can become a hero *Captain America* shows us that a hero is someone who does right *Thor* shows us that we can become good people no matter how cocky we are in the past *Hulk* shows us that if we follow both are heart and our mind, we become our best *Hawkeye* show us that even without extraordinary abilities you can help people *STAN LEE* SHOWED US THAT YOU CAN INSPIRE ANYONE WITH STORIES FROM THE HEART 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
And this is what I call a MASTERPIECE! An amazing tribute to an amazing character!! It would be ironical if it wasn't this sad: she who thought to be a monster, she who thought to have no soul, was the one who sacrificing her soul made everything possible. Though she deserved more, her own share of happiness, I still loved the fact that she didn't die because of weakness, but because of love. Not as a spy, but as a hero. Not for a mission, but for a friend, for her family, for the world. You will be missed 3000.
Finally someone acknowledges her death. Her sacrifice. Everyone was upset about Tony and he got a funeral. But for Nat, nothing was done except for them being sad for a few seconds. The only they even got to fight was coz she died. And not only now, but she was a great hero in all her previous movies too.
It made me sad when she said “see you in a minute” but she... *endgame spoiler alert* never came back. edit: wrong grammar had to fix edit: thanks @Bri Colq for the grammar stuff my brother made xd

Dennis Slungard It’s literally been confirmed for years that they’re making a movie. It takes ages to plan these things out; right now they have a director hired and a script. Scarlett is confirmed to play the lead part and that’s all they’ve told us. It’s supposed to start filming later this year or early next year.
Mina the movie has already been confirmed it’s set to release May next year.

❤❤❤

Stark dies: Gets a funeral
Natasha dies: Nothing but Hawkeye feeling crap and Thor ranting on about how they can “get her back”
Dark times my friends
this concept is called ‘fridging’, when a female character has something horrible happen to her to further a male characters ark. for nat, it was so clint could get redemption, or was also so tony could get all the credit for saving the world and the rest of her male counterparts could cry.
marvel has always treated her as lesser than the other avengers, the actors too. a few years ago, jeremy renner and chris evans called black widow a whore during an interview. when renner ‘apologized’, he followed with something like,” when you bang four out of six avengers, you are a whore”. this is a direct comment to how she has often been written as nothing more than a love interest to her male teammates.
when asked about her lack of a funeral, the Russo brothers chalked it up to her not being a social person. they and the writers decided that that was the end of her story, the character had gone as far as they could take it, calling her a hard character to write. but there shouldn’t be a hard character to write when you’ve been writing her for almost ten years, unless you’ve never actually taken the time to figure out that character.
as much as i would like to say Nat had character growth, she really didn’t. she was willing to die in the Avengers, and she was willing to die here, and she had said that clint had a family to get back to, and that’s why his life was worth more than hers. she had said in Age of Ultron that the Red Room had sterilized her, which is more than hinting that since she could never have a biological family, her life somehow meant less.
they’ve never treated her to the standard that she should have been, but at least with ScarJo as one of the main producers of the Black Widow prequel, she might get the same love and attention from the writers as her male piers.
And addition, Thor is indenial about her death.
@@bellasaunders3978 wasnt expecting this deep ass analysis but nice i agree. fuck the patriarchy
Kinda agree about the character growth and women dying part since Peggy's death affected her but Black Widow gets some character growth during that scene as well.

the one thing that annoys me is how she didn't get a big of a funeral or ending as tony :'(
edit: some people are getting so annoyed at this all I'm saying is after she died we got about 2 minutes of them grieving her and then bang! they forgot about it, she deserved better and that's the truth
Maybe becwuse she's a spy and special agent, not an worldwide known as heroes like ironman
Ik, and I liked her more.
@@kanahoki3638 Stfu. She was just as important.
Like, five people would attend. I think people put way too much stock in ceremony. What matters most is the impact. Iron Man impacted more people personally, so he'd have more people outside the Avengers recognize his death. Even the Iron Man 3 kid attended.
well let's just hope that they'll have a funeral scene or anything relating to her death on the upcoming black widow movie :D
PLEASE CAN WE TALK ABOUT when iron man got a huge funeral and natasha got only hulk throwing a bench in the water . 💔
pre gratitude it’s totally not fair
IVE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING! ITS NOT FAIR
*I will never NOT BE SALTY about Natasha not getting a proper funeral/tribute in the movie* 😢
Natasha like black panther said "Death is not the end"
But she's not a Wakandan.
Wakandan or russian person is person
Luke Skywalker: No one is really gone.
Preach, brother!
PREACH THAT SHIT 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Can't believe you're not mentioning Loki and Dr. Strange and Spiderman
@@kingslayer9316 they only talk about the original 6
And you inspired us
i love her so much she's my favorite avenger & to see how she evolved made me cry:(( she deserved a funeral tho
You just keep making me cry.... 😢
I can't image the Avengers without she ❤
R.I.P. for Natasha
Captain Marvel didn’t do shit for the avengers compared to the sacrifices Nat made! #underrated
Why did you mention Captain Marvel? What did she have to so with Nat? I guess you're craving the likes.
@@thebatanne7841 guess youre trying to tick off every comment that disagrees with your opinion :)
Some people may forget you,but not us.
We love you 3000 Black Widow:"(
Finally someone acknowledges her death. Her sacrifice. Everyone was upset about Tony and he got a funeral. But for Nat, nothing was done except for them being sad for a few seconds. The only they even got to fight was coz she died. And not only now, but she was a great hero in all her previous movies too.
She said "see you in a minute" to Steve but she never came back :(
Well Steve went back in time at the end so maybe he saw her there
It made me sad when she said “see you in a minute”
but she...
*endgame spoiler alert*
never came back.
edit: wrong grammar had to fix
edit: thanks @Bri Colq for the grammar stuff my brother made xd
Yah no one knew it would be never again
Felt the same thing when I rewatched endgame
I'm sad but so happy at the same time. Her solo movie should have been executed a while ago. If an unimportant character such as cap marvel can get her own a beloved original avenger should too haha
DOD I miss the part where they developed a character so I actually felt something?
Same it’s so sad 😭 she was so excited about it too
This girl's sacrifice resulted in victory..Thank U Black widow..we are love U...
Love you 3000 always be my favorite avenger
My favorite superhero!! I cried so much!!!
ladies and gentlemen this is what I call a great character art and amazing acting
She's not coming back ......this line made me cry
