Your reviews are always awesome. I bought the core book for this and am anxiously awaiting. I’m hoping that it can have some longevity. Like, I could make multiple knights or whatever that don’t feel the same. The wording is really well done throughout.
My recommendation to make characters feel different would be to let the players choose their own starting Heroic Ability once they get comfortable with the system. Things like Weaknesses can really change the tone of the characters as well.
I enjoy the product overall... but the way Freeleague handled the release of a hard-cover rule book after the soft-cover Kickstarter, got under my skin. Literally had one of the support personnel tell me that if I wanted a discount for the hard-cover book, I would need to sign up for a newsletter... that I had previously signed up for. The level of, "this is your problem - not mine" from their support staff, was a bit of a slap in the face after having backed their box-set Kickstarter for Dragonbane. Not a fan of the way Freeleague changed over-night with how they handle questions and concerns.
Thank You for sharing Dave. 😊

Im sure they will make the campaign from the box set in hardcover... Like I thought they would do with the rules... I bought the core rulebook today 😁
