Think about it, he's the first Character that the audience met way back on black-ish. She had a crush on since day one and always had feelings for him. Alisha Bowie make sense, I just kinda think a good Significant other helps each other through things like that. Especially when they never really had problems before. He was being petty but the show is about Zoe being petty about something every week and he always supported her. Even trying to show up, when he was mad was to show support (but failed badly). But she felt it was over so I don’t blame her at all. Kinda wish he got to talk to her at the end to apologize. He definitely would have learned from that entire event and would have made them stronger as a couple.

They both broke the code, the difference is that Zoey chose not to be with Aaron and was fine without him since she was dating Luca. Ana was rejected by Aaron and although she keeps trying to show she’s fine you can notice she still has feeling for him. Zoey wants the world to revolve around her but when the same stuff happens to other people she doesn’t even notice.

My girl just needs to focus on her future career and student life for a bit without any boys causing her stress. She's a smart girl but like a friend I know she's too interested in boy and relationships. Way too soon if this is meant to be serious. They spent all season building up Aaron and Ana destroying her relationship with Zoey in the process for a short time. Zoey said no to Aaron at the end of last season. This sends the message I suspected, that Zoey needed to get Luca out of her system before moving on to someone more serious.
Although Zoey does need to be by herself, it is very understandable that see kissed Aaron. Psychologically Zoeys is still conflicted and need some type of comfort generally and the type of what she was missing (support) and Aaron gave her what she needed. She was vulnerable and he was there for her, although when she gets back she does need to take some time for herself I don’t think blocking out Aaron is the right way to go. I believe she should take time for herself which she’ll also have over the summer break and when she comes back she should take it slow and let things come naturally rather than forced.

Way too soon if this is meant to be serious. They spent all season building up Aaron and Ana destroying her relationship with Zoey in the process for a short time. Zoey said no to Aaron at the end of last season. This sends the message I suspected, that Zoey needed to get Luca out of her system before moving on to someone more serious.
Although Zoey does need to be by herself, it is very understandable that see kissed Aaron. Psychologically Zoeys is still conflicted and need some type of comfort generally and the type of what she was missing (support) and Aaron gave her what she needed. She was vulnerable and he was there for her, although when she gets back she does need to take some time for herself I don’t think blocking out Aaron is the right way to go. I believe she should take time for herself which she’ll also have over the summer break and when she comes back she should take it slow and let things come naturally rather than forced.

That’s not really how it works in college. When your as young as Zoey, you don’t have enough knowledge to know or realize that jumping back and forth through relationships isn’t healthy. When the episode started it had been a week after the Luca fallout...so this could've been like a month later.. but I do agree she needs to be single for next season for the first half of the season (which I think will happen anyway with Ryan Destiny joining the cast)
