hii didi! i actually got admission recently in SRM ktr nd im pursuing biomedical eng , i actually wanted to ask u about the hostels and all like is it after i book my hostel can i shift there before the sessions starts? i wanted to shift atleast 15 days so that i can get settled there properly with routine and all.

Is it true that girls are not allowed to wear jeans or modern tops(not revealing) here?? Also is there really a time discrimination in hostels like girls should be back before 7 but for boys it is 9:30??? And is it also true that we need to pay extra to keep a laptop with us??

No no.. it's completely fine to wear jeans and not revealing clothes. They only have a problem if it's revealing and round tshirts are strictly not allowed. As for the timings, yup.. hostel life for girls is strict here. You will have to be inside the campus by 7 but from what i know you can still walk around in ur hostel premises and as for boys it's 9 pm.oh and No! U dont have to pay anything to keep a laptop. Laptop is an essential so its fine but ur not allowed to bring other gadgets like kettles. If u want to use it you'll have to pay an extra amount for that.
Nah , just rumours , you can wear anything you want , there is an instruction mentioned for timing for the hostels but it's flexible , I mean you can come at 8 pm too. No you don't need to pay anything extra for keeping a laptop with you
@@GladwinBenjamin but I've seen multiple girls wearing extra-revealing clothes , I don't think there's a problem with that.. during the lectures , some teachers point out otherwise I've not seen anything like that , and also , I wear a rounded neck tshirt almost everyday

1) I want to know a truth do they really give scholarships for top rankers in SRM JEE or they di fake advertisement. Cause I can afford cse course in srm only if they provide scholarship
2) Im aiming for top 10 rank in srmjeee but my friend is scaring me saying that " Dont aim for scholarship and all even if u get top 10 ranks u wont get scholarships" (she studies 1st sem cse)
3) Do they really provide 100,75,25percent scholarship whatever they post on website
4) Is there any students in ur campus(rmp ans ktr) who studies in 100 or 75 percent scholarship in srm for cse?
I already took a gap the only good college left for me to write exam and get scholarship is this only so pls akka reply.
Scholarship is comparatively easy to get only in Phase 1, it is also given to top 100 only. In phase 2 only 1-10 seats are given and in phase 3 I don't think much will be available.. in fact most of the seats are also filled in first 2 phase.

p.s: phase 1 isnt held still but in case if i get low rank in it....
I think ure eligible to write srmjeee twice or thrice max ig, depending on how many attempts u wanna choose.. They consider the best of 2 I assume.. Please check it in the website once.. Anyways, all the best! 👍

@@JahnaviJanu-eu9yci dont really know if changing the whole course is allowed or not but they do allow a person to change specializations. One of my friends from cse w/s software engineering went to cse core by paying some extra fee with the office told em to pay.

There is no point in asking because the fee structure has been changed. The fee has been increased by almost 50-70k in every course here.
