Not only that, but if any of them fell hard they could have sustained both minor and serious injuries. He loves the members so much so he wanted to make sure they were safe.

The number of times he pointed to the dodgy areas and indicated where to stand in order to perform safely. I would have been furious at how dangerous the stage was not least because the guys have a world tour coming up which they will be training hard for. If any of them had been injured that could have put a spanner in the works. Once again, Chan demonstrates the difference between simply leading and being a leader.
Moments like these show what kind of professionals they are. I mean generally the majority of k-pop showcase their professionalism in situations like that.

He was so scared and frustrated of them possibly getting hurt. It was probably hard for some of the members to remember to stay back because of maybe stage markers or just them being used to being closer to the edge. Any added decorations to a stage needs to be tested before being used. Hyunjin could've seriously hurt his ankle.

I was there and let me tell you: the stage wasn't slippery because of the writing. This was a performance after the Hana Grand Prix (electric car race) and the winners spilt a bottle of champagne as a celebration. They boys performed after the winners were awarded and all that champagne was still on the stage,
