I feel like these girls were forced to grow up WAY too fast. Like, they went from Better Together to Reflection which was a massive genre flip. Also, don't get me started on how they'd (possibly) still be together now if Epic & Syco gave them ALL creative control from the beginning. They also would have released way more songs based off all the leaked songs they had.

It was more marketable at the time.. and this is when taylor swifts album red DOMINATED and everyone had to recreate the sound to chart.. plus having voices like Camilas whose voice was incredibly POPPY and youthful and Lauren and Normanis whose voices were soft enough to glide on pop melodies yet soulful enough to give pop records an edge really helped the band! I’m glad they went this route
