From my research, the best beginner banjos are: Gold Tone AC-1 (used for Bluegrass (also konwn as 3 finger or Scruggs style of playing)) or Gold Tone AC-12 (made for clawhammer style, has a wider fretboard). UA-cam the differences in playing if you're not sure, and then pick which kind you want. The kits you can buy them in come with a gig bag, and they're very affordable for this quality of banjo.
Go with the Epiphone MB-100. I had its resonator version, and I loved it.Or the Gold Tone CC 100 R. I have it right now, the newer model has planetary tuners on it instead of guitar tuners.

I have the B50, its fine to learn on but you will be shopping for a higher quality banjo in 6 months. It wears out quickly.
