Paints used to complete the resin statue were a mix of vallejo acrylic paints, Army Painter Speed paints, Vallejo Xpress colors and Citadel Contrast Paints. These paints are popular among the slapchop painting method where it is a variation on zenithal speed painting.
The Iwata eclipse airbrush was also used to create smooth blends and glazes for this concept art.

What are your thoughts on James Gunn leaving the MCU after Guardians 3 and working for DC?
Idk the movie line up don't empress me one bit. Should of stayed in marvel but I know why he isn't there but only time can tell I guess
@@kennyjustice2252 The Guardians movies were a surprise hit for me. I watched vol.1 with no expectations and ended up really enjoying it. I hope James Gunn can do good work for DC
@@TinyLittles3D hey man don't get me wrong everything other than captain marvel was fun to watch! Anything after end game was just horrible story telling for me especially Loki...I was super excited to watch that but after seeing wat they did to him and the story as a whole I was so done with it. Only thing I enjoyed that was new wasn't even marvel it was soney. So yea I kinda gave up on anything marvel related. I heard good views for the new guardians being mix as good and having a lil problem here and there. I'll give it a chance on release not wanting to see it in theaters tbh
@@kennyjustice2252 ya, I think that is the sentiment for most MCU fans. Hopefully they turn things around so that it's fun and exciting for us fans again

Yes, I went with blue and purple for the base because I wanted to give it more of an off-planet feel to this piece. Since they are the guardians of the “galaxy” after all.

Until recently, no one eversaid I was an artistic person. I am surprised myself that I enjoy painting these figures so much. I think I just love seeing these grey plastic slowly becoming the character we all know and love from comics and movies
