When I went for my divorce, the journey from hell, I looked around for anyone who went through divorce and can help, be a support person or mentor and I found none, no one. It will be very helpful that we, who has seen bruises and traumas of broken hearts, broken lives and broken trust (from the institution on marriage, from our own family and the partner and his/her family, and then again from Judicial system) support each other. This podcast is great and I see there is lot more acceptance and support from the community and culture.
It will be helpful, if we develop a community to educate others (well meaning relatives and friends) who advise not knowing what we have been through, and to support each other.
I have forwarded this channel to couple of my relatives to understand that what they know or believe 9from far away) is not what it is in reality.
Great step for helping all of us to move forward. Thank you.

I just got so overwhelmed reading this! It was a very helpless zone switching between I am ok to why isn’t anybody understanding me! Divorce is not just another thing like people talk about it! It’s changes you like from deep inside and it’s only people who would understand it would know it.

Yes in India mostly people see divorce as taboos but we need to normalise it.. Divorced persons deserve to be happy to

@@YoursTrulyRJDivya I don't give judgements to anyone... When I was in a dating app I got some matches of 35-40-45 ages women, some were divorced some we fighting for it while being in a dead marriage.... they shared all the woes with me... Then I realised how much of a big problem it is... I don't judge anyone for it... I'm just 21 Y.O. BTW

We miss the idea of being married rather than the actual marriage . Thats the biggest loss to deal with. We women dont choose divorce in a day but years and years of being in a bad marriage lead us to do that . And many women dont choose divorce even though they are the ones applying it the most . They want their families ,they want their children to have happy homes but things are too unbearable when they choose divorce.

divorce is always the last solution. no woman wants it ever..no woman marries to divorce.. i wish people understood that too :
