Basically I think Maddie was the target, he didn't expect Kaylee to be in the same room as her, so he killed her. Then Ethan either went into the kitchen for something or heard a commotion, which the killer followed him to Xana's room. Killed him in the doorway, which led him to Xana and killed her there.

I don't see many saying they think he will ultimately be innocent of the crimes, from what we have been shown the evidence seems strong. What I see is a lot of people saying he's innocent until proven guilty and they're absolutely right. It's the law of the land. All of this evidence and all these allegations have to stand up to scrutiny in court.

We haven't heard all the evidence yet. Also, prosecutors make mistakes, like in the OJ trial when they let OJ try on the leather glove while wearing a latex glove underneath it to avoid contamination, and of course the glove did not fit.

I think they were notified who was there, & took the opportunity to clean out the upper house. Bad deals, bad blood, & the bill came due. The stalker may have been a hitter sent to do the deed, but they kept other people around them, using car service, Showalter, etc. They bided their time then whacked them at home, only place they had a clean shot & the time to execute. At the beginning I assumed Kaylee was his target, but with all the recent information and rumors, I 100% believe his target was Maddie now. He may have resented or been jealous of Kaylee due to her close relationship to Maddie, but Maddie was his target.
I've been thinking it was Maddie too for a while now The fact that the attack on Kaylee was more severe could mean both: that she was the actual target or that he killed Maddie bc she was the target and Kaylee fought to save her. Any of them would have fought till the end for the other. I believe he went to kill 1 found 2, other 2 heard some noises went to investigate, confronted BK on his way out, a brief deadly struggle & he was gone.
If there was a struggle I suspect there would have been a significant noise and there's no way to contain the blood. The crime scene would be a mess. The roommate gave such an accurate description of the killer's build and "Bushy Eyebrows"...you can't do that in the dark so she would have seen him covered in blood because the lights were on. So much is off about this case...the cops explained away how long it took for the police to be called and that friends were called to the house before the police...this is the weirdest case.
Seriously just let the professionals do their jobs. All news outlets keep reporting on the same things over and over. There are tons of other cases that still need attention too. At this point this is a suspect and custody and a gag order. Let’s let the families continue to mourn , work with law enforcement and be patient. At some point this has turned to just obsession vs. coverage. There are sooo many unsolved cases that need coverage too.

Could you imagine if his parents had no idea he was like this? The absolute horror of finding out your own kid did something so horrific. The absolute devastation you would feel for the parents, the other family members and friends of the victims. For the victims themselves to experience such pain and mutilation at the hands of your child. I really hope they had no idea their child was a monster.

Many years ago, when I lived in another state, we lived between two neighbors. On one side, the husband's mother had been murdered many, many years ago, and it was an unsolved mystery. When it was finally solved, many years after the fact, it happened to be the son of my neighbor on the other side of us. She had absolutely no idea and was devastated that her son could do that. Also, she was really good friends with the neighbor that he had killed the mom. The lady that he had murdered, was an elderly lady, that lived alone. It was real sad.

It makes sense that Maddie was the target. He went in her room after all. Kaylee could’ve been in her own room, and went into Maddie’s room when she heard something happening. Maybe she was coming out her door and saw BK going into Maddie’s room and followed. Dylan heard someone she thought was Kaylee say, “Someone’s here.” I think she surprised him when she came in the room. Maybe he didn’t even know she was in town for the night and thought Maddie would be alone upstairs? He planned for a quick in and out, but quickly got far more action than he had imagined. Those are my speculations, for what they’re worth.

He saw them at the Mad Greek. The one he fixated on was Maddie Mogen. She fits the doll type he would go after. Xana was far too outspoken and independent for BK. He was a Narcissist. Xana would have punctured his ego many times. She was fearless. But Maddie seems more feminine and cute. Maddie's room was the first one he visited. Kaylee happened to be there too that night. He could not have gone into Kaylee's room as the dog was locked in there and barking his head off. I think that dog rattled BK quite a bit. He came downstairs, bumped into Ethan outside Xana's bedroom and killed him, then Xana in her room. Both Ethan and Xana were awake and waiting for the food delivery. I'm 99% sure it was Maddie he was after. Her bed had the knife sheath on it. Poor Maddie. She probably never read any of his Instagram DMs either. What a savage attack from an insanely evil Psychopath. RIP Maddie, Kaylee, Xana, Ethan. You are not forgotten.

Ethan was found at the doorway so he could have been going to the bathroom and Kohnberger heard the noise, or Kohberger just went to check bc he was already on that floor, and Ethan was next to the bathroom coincidentally. Of course Xana was a few feet away, so there was no way she wouldn't be part of the conflict. As for speed and lack of too much noise, it only takes a swift strong stroke across the neck to cut the vocal cords and many large vessels. The blood on the outside of Xana's room shows there was massive blood loss. The knife was made to due massive damage quickly.

I bet it was Maddie. Kaylee had already moved out and was there that weekend as a surprise and to show Maddie her new car. I also suspect that this attack was originally sexually motivated and Kaylee’s wounds were significantly worse because he was angry that she was there when he wasn’t expecting her to be after all his planning. I’m not so sure anymore that he initially went in intending to kill anyone, I’m thinking he snapped and from there he was caught by the other roommates on his way out. Such a tragic and gruesome case.
Oh he 100% went in that house to murder. There's no doubt in my mind. He may not have planned a quadruple murder, but he was filled with rage and wanted to violently murder women. It may have had a sexual component. An FBI profiler said that some of these psychopaths are...aroused only by very violent fantasies. Over time the fantasies aren't satisfying enough for them and that's when they start planning murders. To put it bluntly, there are murderers who are aroused by the violent act of stabbing. I know its disgusting, but that's what the profiler said. She said in those cases there will often be no sign of sexual assault on the victim(s).

There was details leaked regarding the manner in which the bodies had even been found and the types of wounds on them because an agent had leaked it over a text. Wouldn't shock me if this is what happened before they got the gag order finalized that the info was leaked beforehand. If it came out before the gag order happened then there is nothing that can be done about it. The chances are that is the case and the reason there is no follow up now on what the picture actually was and of who it was means that the order is now in place and they can't delve further into the details. Ofc a LOT of news channels / papers LOVE to release news before actually fact checking it to make sure it is even true. There's a reason you will see edits to articles after they were published. Sometimes the article will outright be removed off the site and a small apology issued. It's possible this info isn't even correct or valid. For all we know there could be hundreds of pics, or there could be zero. The news is there sadly most of the time now to get the most clicks / sales regardless of if it's actual fact.

The police questioned two guys that Kaylee thought were stalking her. They found that the guys were not stalking her, that they were walking to their cars. Also, Kaylee complained about an older woman she thought kept looking at her and Jack when they were at Walmart, and she called the cops.
A trial will be a very long ways from now. There is a preliminary hearing set for June 26, 2023 to determine whether there is enough evidence for a trial, and the actual trail may not even take place during 2023 or at least not finish this year. Kohberger has waived his right (under the US constitution) to a speedy trial. The only way to speed this up is if Kohberger accepts a plea bargain for life in prison instead of death penalty, and I don't know if the prosecution will go for that.

Hei guys, one question. How could he be so confidently walking through the house and knowing which door leads to who and how to escape / enter? Is it that common in Idaho that the outside doors are open 24/7? Or has he been there before? Maybe at a party? Here in Germany our outside doors are locked even at daytime.
Same here in the US. However, some communities, as this one feels their community, are safe, and they leave doors unlocked until they get a dose of reality that they have evil men living amongst them.
I think like he had probably been in the house before. I’m from a rural area in the US and my parents have never locked their house door. They actually tell people not to lock it because apparently the front door wouldn’t unlock once. My dad has a truck that the key got stuck in so he just leaves it in the ignition with the doors unlocked. One time one of his coworkers saw him shopping in the grocery store and moved his truck to the other side of the parking lot
The town where this happened is in my home town and I went to this university. I locked none of my doors (house, bedroom, car, etc) until I left for grad school in 2015 out of state. It always felt extremely safe. I would walk around at night by myself on and around campus and feel completely safe. I would walk a mile home from school every day starting at age 8. Things like this were absolutely unfathomable.

Before the affidavit came out a true crime UA-camr leaked info she got from a woman who’s married to one of the FBI agents and everything she said was spot on. She even said that one of the survivors yelled for them to be quiet thinking the other roommates had company when she saw the killer. So I believe this. She also stated the FBI agent said Kaylees face was unrecognizable from being beaten in, a lot more gruesome things were said but i will not repeat them all here. These kids were brutalized, not just stabbed in their sleep 🥹 the total brutality of this crime is something us with normal minds refuse to even imagine. BK is a monster

If there was a struggle I suspect there would have been a significant noise and there's no way to contain the blood. The crime scene would be a mess. The roommate gave such an accurate description of the killer's build and "Bushy Eyebrows"...you can't do that in the dark so she would have seen him covered in blood because the lights were on. So much is off about this case...the cops explained away how long it took for the police to be called and that friends were called to the house before the police...this is the weirdest case.
Seriously just let the professionals do their jobs. All news outlets keep reporting on the same things over and over. There are tons of other cases that still need attention too. At this point this is a suspect and custody and a gag order. Let’s let the families continue to mourn , work with law enforcement and be patient. Many years ago, when I lived in another state, we lived between two neighbors. On one side, the husband's mother had been murdered many, many years ago, and it was an unsolved mystery. When it was finally solved, many years after the fact, it happened to be the son of my neighbor on the other side of us. She had absolutely no idea and was devastated that her son could do that. Also, she was really good friends with the neighbor that he had killed the mom. The lady that he had murdered, was an elderly lady, that lived alone. It was real sad.

It makes sense that Maddie was the target. He went in her room after all. Kaylee could’ve been in her own room, and went into Maddie’s room when she heard something happening. Maybe she was coming out her door and saw BK going into Maddie’s room and followed. Dylan heard someone she thought was Kaylee say, “Someone’s here.” I think she surprised him when she came in the room. Maybe he didn’t even know she was in town for the night and thought Maddie would be alone upstairs? He planned for a quick in and out, but quickly got far more action than he had imagined. Those are my speculations, for what they’re worth.

Maddie's room was the first one he visited. Kaylee happened to be there too that night. He could not have gone into Kaylee's room as the dog was locked in there and barking his head off. I think that dog rattled BK quite a bit.
He came downstairs, bumped into Ethan outside Xana's bedroom and killed him, then Xana in her room. Both Ethan and Xana were awake and waiting for the food delivery.
I'm 99% sure it was Maddie he was after. Her bed had the knife sheath on it. Poor Maddie. She probably never read any of his Instagram DMs either. What a savage attack from an insanely evil Psychopath.

Ethan was found at the doorway so he could have been going to the bathroom and Kohnberger heard the noise, or Kohberger just went to check bc he was already on that floor, and Ethan was next to the bathroom coincidentally. As for speed and lack of too much noise, it only takes a swift strong stroke across the neck to cut the vocal cords and many large vessels. The blood on the outside of Xana's room shows there was massive blood loss. The knife was made to due massive damage quickly.

Oh he 100% went in that house to murder. There's no doubt in my mind. He may not have planned a quadruple murder, but he was filled with rage and wanted to violently murder women. It may have had a sexual component. An FBI profiler said that some of these psychopaths are...aroused only by very violent fantasies. Over time the fantasies aren't satisfying enough for them and that's when they start planning murders. To put it bluntly, there are murderers who are aroused by the violent act of stabbing. I know its disgusting, but that's what the profiler said. She said in those cases there will often be no sign of sexual assault on the victim(s).

There was details leaked regarding the manner in which the bodies had even been found and the types of wounds on them because an agent had leaked it over a text. Wouldn't shock me if this is what happened before they got the gag order finalized that the info was leaked beforehand. If it came out before the gag order happened then there is nothing that can be done about it. The chances are that is the case and the reason there is no follow up now on what the picture actually was and of who it was means that the order is now in place and they can't delve further into the details. Ofc a LOT of news channels / papers LOVE to release news before actually fact checking it to make sure it is even true. There's a reason you will see edits to articles after they were published. Sometimes the article will outright be removed off the site and a small apology issued. It's possible this info isn't even correct or valid. For all we know there could be hundreds of pics, or there could be zero. The news is there sadly most of the time now to get the most clicks / sales regardless of if it's actual fact.

Early after the murders, I heard that one of the girls had told friends she had a stalker. Then…nobody ever mentioned that again.
The police questioned two guys that Kaylee thought were stalking her. They found that the guys were not stalking her, that they were walking to their cars. Also, Kaylee complained about an older woman she thought kept looking at her and Jack when they were at Walmart, and she called the cops.
I tell you, this case gets more interesting every time I hear new information.

A trial will be a very long ways from now. There is a preliminary hearing set for June 26, 2023 to determine whether there is enough evidence for a trial, and the actual trail may not even take place during 2023 or at least not finish this year. Kohberger has waived his right (under the US constitution) to a speedy trial. The only way to speed this up is if Kohberger accepts a plea bargain for life in prison instead of death penalty, and I don't know if the prosecution will go for that.
It was Maddie. She worked at the Mad Greek. It was her bedroom he left the knife sheath (first victim). He never expected Kaylee to be there, and Ethan to see him in hallway, and Xana wondering where Ethan was. I think the others were collateral damage.

At this point we don't know who is giving us accurate information. How would the owner know every single person who ever ate at her restaurant? That's absurd. And clearly she would not want her restaurant associated with a psychopath and these terrible murders. So she also has a motive to deny the story. If she said, "as far as I know this guy never came to the restaurant" -- then that would be convincing. I am certainly not saying "trust the so-called journalist" because he has a motive to make up wild stories.
If he targeted her, he has probably targeted others before this murder.

There is something called the Shield Law, which allows the news media to publish illegally leaked information without revealing their sources.
They're milking the case for all that $. They got some new "info" every week from godknows where. It doesn't matter if it's real or not because by the time everything comes out they've already pocketed all the money.

Hei guys, one question. How could he be so confidently walking through the house and knowing which door leads to who and how to escape / enter? Is it that common in Idaho that the outside doors are open 24/7? Or has he been there before? Maybe at a party? Here in Germany our outside doors are locked even at daytime.
Same here in the US. However, some communities, as this one feels their community, are safe, and they leave doors unlocked until they get a dose of reality that they have evil men living amongst them.

I think like he had probably been in the house before. I’m from a rural area in the US and my parents have never locked their house door. They actually tell people not to lock it because apparently the front door wouldn’t unlock once. My dad has a truck that the key got stuck in so he just leaves it in the ignition with the doors unlocked. One time one of his coworkers saw him shopping in the grocery store and moved his truck to the other side of the parking lot
I also think that he was connected to the people/house before.
The town where this happened is in my home town and I went to this university. I locked none of my doors (house, bedroom, car, etc) until I left for grad school in 2015 out of state. It always felt extremely safe. I would walk around at night by myself on and around campus and feel completely safe. I would walk a mile home from school every day starting at age 8. Things like this were absolutely unfathomable.
So how do investigators get into an accused persons phone? Are they required to give up their password, does anybody know?
If they have Face ID as the option law enforcement has every right to access without consent. If it’s only a passcode then they will have to fight it in court and with Apple/android

Before the affidavit came out a true crime UA-camr leaked info she got from a woman who’s married to one of the FBI agents and everything she said was spot on. She even said that one of the survivors yelled for them to be quiet thinking the other roommates had company when she saw the killer. So I believe this. She also stated the FBI agent said Kaylees face was unrecognizable from being beaten in, a lot more gruesome things were said but i will not repeat them all here. These kids were brutalized, not just stabbed in their sleep 🥹 the total brutality of this crime is something us with normal minds refuse to even imagine. BK is a monster
