You would be surprised what they got away with in kids cartoons. Animaniacs did a joke about fingering Prince and in a Pinky and the Brain episode based on Samson from the Bible they said Jawbone of an Ass several times 😂
Feels more like a toned-down version of Stripperella than an episode of The Mask. Can't believe they got away with this on a Saturday morning animated series.
The writers had fun too. Definitely something I miss about earlier media. When the censors kept bugging them, some would rise above and slip in some lines that still conveyed what they wanted to say but just avoided the dreaded cutting room floor. Shame that most animation studios were rushed or couldn't clean up the animation but that's when the writers stepped in for the most part. Sometimes there was no hope on either end back then. I think The Mask was on a channel that didn't mind more risqué stuff if I remember. Some cartoons benefited more being on networks that couldn't care less like Fox Kids or early Cartoon Network. Today's cartoons are good too just noting a difference from decades of watching TV cable and antenna.
The way they drew that chick wearing the dynamite, imagine if that inspired a designer to make a line of dynamite-based clothing (not with real dynamite of course) because that chick was basically wearing a dynamite bikini, if she didn't intend to commit murder, everyone would think she's trying to start a fashion trend.
I watch this episode a few months back and still can't believe it that they got away with these jokes !😂 Also, Cookie kaboom is just a "knockout" of a babe~😏😏
Prime example of true PG rating. PG used to mean kids and adults could enjoy the show. For stuff like this the kids wouldn't get the more adult info/implications and it gave adults the chance and responsibility to explain or deflect. I miss those days when kids could slowly mature and be exposed to more adult things in a gradual, appropriate, and controlled way. No yhey just shove everything 9n kids faces, sometimes literally😢.
Indeed she is! The fact they showed this, hell, the fact The Mask got an animated "kids" show at all is as crazy as him. The 90s were something else.
You can say that again. Same for the Beetlejuice cartoon.
If Animaniacs could get away with "finger Prince" I'm not all that surprised.
Executives just don't have the stones to try it anymore.
She certainly was "SSSSMOKIN'!!
I miss when kids shows were able to be this edgy without causing a controversy.
The fact this guy almost said stripper in a kids cartoon

it was a different time...
@@iHawke It was a simpler time.
This is nothing. Look up the Captain Planet AIDS episode.
@@coachlombardi9657 it was a better time
She is that quite literally and metaphorically. And the Mask being animated was the wildest thing lol

Sause: The Mask The Animated Series Season 2, Episode 3: Flight as a Feather.

She was the literal bomb and…SMOKIN!!!🧨❤️🔥😍
I love how she just gets away with her coat in the next scene and no one tries to stop her
She's Smokin'!
Now that's a literal bombshell
The Rush Hour reference is amazing. Top tier movie.
Feels more like a toned-down version of Stripperella than an episode of The Mask.
Can't believe they got away with this on a Saturday morning animated series.
DYNAMITE GAL 😍
"Somebody stop me"
*FCC:* It's fine, i clocked out already
Wow, I forgot her whole scenes were less than 1 minute of animation
Love the Rush Hour 2 clip at the end! Classic.

reminds me of that crazy fan Nathan dated in Metalocalypse
yes, this was a different era, the 90s, imagine this scene on a kids show today
Oh I remember that, when the TV used to be awesome.
Wow, the last time i see was very long ago
Sheeeeesh ^^' The Mask make me feel nostalgic ^^' and as always xD love the ending
She was truly the bomb 😏😎
"Lady, I need to read you your rights... again..."
She truly was a bomb
90s cartoons were so based. I hope for a renaissance in the near future.
A bombshell with bombs 💣, or... technically, sticks of Dynamite... but still, you get the idea 💡 😏 😉 lol 😆 😁 😄.
I watch this episode a few months back and still can't believe it that they got away with these jokes !😂
Also, Cookie kaboom is just a "knockout" of a babe~😏😏
The mask (animation) shows it completely 🙄
1995-1997
when i was a kid... she shocked my mind in the good way... you just make me remember this episode... thanks you haha
You know, when they said that she was the bomb, I DIDN'T THINK THEY MEANT THAT LITERALLY!
This was a Saturday morning cartoon😲
Holy Titan she’s got dynamite on her body

Hey that's Principal Lewis's voice actor!
So this is what a term bombshell originated, also you don’t see stuff like this in cartoons anymore especially western ones 😢
I thought the mask animated series was a kids show.
I get what you mean. It was supposed to be, seeing as how it was broadcast on CBS Saturday mornings in the 90s.
The mask is Smoking
A woman you can go to heaven with 2 times.
I should be shocked that The Mask just stripped her naked....but for some reason I'm not though!😳
I remember this
Adult jokes in kids cartoons
I miss those days
If you want to see MOAR
there is Rule Thirty Four
Willie Brown and Kamala Harris (1990):
My question is who gets arrested? The lady for terrorism or Jim Carrey for SA?
Shcwing!
That should not feel comfortable in real life, or warm for that matter
😂😂😂
changed your profile pic to the Duke of Detroit huh? Nice.
Thank you
They just do draw cartoons like they used too anymore.
Well, the title isn't wrong
